Fu Junheng reached out and took the woman's hand, gently stroking the back of her hand with his fingertips, and said in a slightly sad voice, "It's only been two hours, Shuang'er, and you're already so cold to me."
Mu Chenshuang withdrew her hand. "I don't have time to waste here arguing with you."
Fu Junheng glanced at her, but didn't say anything more. "Let's go!"
Fu Junheng led Mu Chenshuang to a secluded palace.
Feng Ji was standing guard outside the door.
Mu Chenshuang walked in alone and saw the woman who was blindfolded and tied to a stool. She was the one who had stolen the silk scarf from her without her noticing. Since the real culprit who assassinated Wei Xu and framed her was Feng Hao, then the only person who could have acted on his behalf was the one who stole her silk scarf. She really wanted to know who this palace maid was, that she could learn such a similar palm technique to the one left behind by the original owner's mother.
Mu Chenshuang stepped forward and released her pressure points.
Yanse exhaled sharply, her blood and qi flowing smoothly. She noticed the person before her and asked, "Who are you?"
The words had barely left his mouth.
The blindfold was removed.
Yanse saw Mu Chenshuang standing in front of her at a glance, her eyes showing shock, but she quickly calmed down, "This servant has no grudge against Princess Weiyang, I wonder what Princess Weiyang wants to do by kidnapping this servant here?"
Her manner of speaking and attitude were completely unlike those of an ordinary palace maid.
Mu Chenshuang stared at her coldly, "So you really are the one who sneaked into the palace. I'm quite curious how the Sixth Prince has such a skilled person by his side."
Yanse, unfazed, retorted, "I am merely fortunate to have gained the favor of the Sixth Prince."
"Is that so!"
Mu Chenshuang clearly didn't believe her, but that wasn't what she was curious about.
"You should be able to guess why I arrested you?"
"This servant is unaware; please enlighten me, Princess Weiyang."
Mu Chenshuang sneered and said slowly in a deep voice, "Back then, the Sixth Prince framed me for assassinating Wei Xu. Wasn't it you who left the palm print on Wei Xu's body?"
"Since Princess Weiyang knew who assassinated Prince Wei, why did she frame her own aunt and make her a scapegoat?"
Mu Chenshuang's eyes narrowed, her icy gaze falling on Yan Se, like a blade slicing through her, sending chills down one's spine.
"I'm asking you if you're yes or no?!"
Yanse's expression stiffened, and he admitted, "I left it behind."
Mu Chenshuang coldly pressed, "Who taught you that?"
"My master."
Who is your master?
"She's already dead. What good would it do for Princess Weiyang to know?"
Mu Chenshuang narrowed her pupils and stared at Yanse, her cold and sharp gaze carrying a penetrating sharpness, as if the person in front of her had nowhere to hide.
That look filled Smoke with nothing but fear and unease.
“You’re lying,” Mu Chenshuang said directly.
Yanse's whole body stiffened and tensed, suppressing her inner panic as she looked at Mu Chenshuang, "Why would I lie to Princess Weiyang?"
"You think I can't get you to talk if you don't speak?" The voice was cold and chilling, without a trace of jest.
Yanse was no longer as composed as before; her hands, bound behind her back, tightened continuously, and cold sweat began to pour from them.
"She's in Xiyue Kingdom. Even if Princess Weiyang knows, what can she do? Kill me? Or go to Xiyue Kingdom to find her?" she replied in a flustered tone.
"Although your skills are not proficient, you clearly know that the Falling Petal Palm technique has a crucial connection with me, so you know where this palm technique originated and what relationship your master has with the Marquis's mansion?"
Mu Chenshuang asked, getting straight to the point.
Yanse met Mu Chenshuang's gaze and said frankly, "My master only taught me martial arts. How would I know what connection she has with the Marquis's mansion?"
Just as Mu Chenshuang was about to speak.
Suddenly, a pebble struck Yan Se's acupoint, and she fainted instantly. Mu Chen Shuang was startled and turned around to see Fu Jun Heng walking in. "Someone is coming this way. We have to go."
