Chapter 664 My Patience Is Limited

Teahouses, like brothels like Wanyue Lake, are good places to gather information. It seems that when Feng Mo Ran was pretending to lie low, she was indeed never idle in terms of gathering information.

"What are you thinking about?" Mu Chenshuang was pondering when Feng Mozhan suddenly spoke up.

Realizing what was happening, Mu Chenshuang quickly looked up and saw Feng Moran squinting at her with a slight smile. However, his gaze didn't seem genuinely happy; instead, it seemed as if he wanted to see right through her.

"I'm just curious. This teahouse doesn't look high-end, yet it can provide such expensive tea sets for its guests. It's quite impressive." Mu Chenshuang replied calmly.

Upon hearing this, Feng Mo Ran finally chuckled and looked at Mu Chen Shuang with approval.

Mu Chenshuang is indeed meticulous, skilled in both literature and martial arts, and now even her medical skills are comparable to those of a spiritual healer. She is also independent and has an impeccable appearance. It's hard for him not to admire such a person.

Feng Mo Ran looked at her with satisfaction, her expression softening considerably. "The princess is indeed very observant."

"This teahouse is indeed ordinary, and it doesn't have any powerful background. It's just that I used to come here to drink tea when I was down on my luck."

Feng Mozhan offered his explanation, and Mu Chenshuang remained outwardly calm, but inwardly she didn't believe him at all.

"As for this tea set, it was sent here by my order, and it will only be used when I come."

As Feng Mo Ran spoke, his gaze was fixed on Mu Chen Shuang's delicate face, as if he were observing her reaction.

After he finished speaking, Mu Chenshuang did not say anything more, but calmly picked up her teacup and drank.

Seeing this, Feng Mo Ran also picked up a teacup and slowly began to sip.

"Second Prince, what brings you here?" Mu Chenshuang took a few sips of tea. The tea was indeed mellow and rich, but she was not in a good mood, so she put it down after only a few sips.

Upon hearing this, Feng Mo Ran paused slightly in his hand holding the teacup, then thoughtfully felt the rim of the cup before laughing, "It seems that Princess Wei Yang is quite adept at feigning ignorance. Does the princess truly not know why this prince sought you out?"

Feng Moran's wicked gaze swept over Mu Chenshuang, then he tilted his head back and drank the tea in his cup in one gulp. Unlike his usual leisurely sipping, it seemed more like he was venting his dissatisfaction.

"Could it be that Your Highness has a bad memory and has forgotten that I, the prince, gave you a jade pendant engraved with your mother's name?"

Feng Moran leaned back slightly and then smiled, "But it's alright. If the princess forgets, this prince can kindly remind you again."

Mu Chenshuang felt somewhat uncomfortable upon hearing his words. She pursed her lips slightly before speaking.

"No, but would the Second Prince really be trying to threaten me with this?" Mu Chenshuang asked directly.

Her words startled Feng Moran, who then narrowed his eyes with displeasure and said, "This prince has no intention of threatening you with this matter, however, this prince's patience is limited."

An unbearable silence fell over the tea room. After a moment, Feng Mo Ran spoke first.

“Princess Weiyang seems to have misunderstood. This prince has no intention of threatening you; on the contrary, he wants to help you.” Feng Moran smiled meaningfully.

Mu Chenshuang did have a moment of doubt because of his smile, but she quickly made up her mind.
