Just as Mu Chenshuang was about to say something, she heard the boy's stomach rumble.
"You must be very hungry. Let's eat first and then talk," Mu Chenshuang smiled gently, her eyes tender.
The boy stared at her, and her gentle smile warmed his heart, causing him to lower his guard. He hadn't eaten for several days and was extremely hungry.
Mu Chenshuang led the boy to the restaurant and ordered a table full of dishes. The boy wolfed down several large bowls in one go.
"Eat slowly, no one will take it from you."
Qi Ye sat to the side, sword in hand, staring at the boy with disdain, and warned, "You brat, let me tell you, finish your food and get out of here, or don't linger."
I just finished speaking.
Mu Chenshuang glared at him fiercely and snapped, "Alright, shut up."
The boy took a big gulp of soup, placed the bowl heavily on the table with both hands, and, having eaten and drunk his fill, looked up at the man opposite him. Suddenly, he said with a wronged expression, "Big brother, do you really not remember me?"
Mu Chenshuang looked at the young man. He didn't seem to be trying to blame anyone, so he probably really knew Qi Ye.
“Since you know him, then come with me!” Mu Chenshuang said.
The boy turned his head to look at Mu Chenshuang, his phoenix eyes filled with doubt, "You still haven't answered me, who are you?"
Mu Chenshuang replied, "I am your elder brother's savior."
The boy listened and looked at Qi Ye for confirmation. Qi Ye did not deny it. The boy looked away and stared at Mu Chen Shuang. It was indeed hard to dislike such a beautiful and gentle older sister.
"My elder sister is my savior, just as my elder brother was. I bow to her with sincere respect."
As the young man spoke, he stood up, knelt on one knee with his fists clasped, displaying the demeanor of a young man from the martial arts world, and exuding an indescribable air of nobility.
Seeing that he was about to kowtow, Mu Chenshuang quickly reached out and grabbed his wrist, pulling him up.
"Get up!"
The boy stood up.
Upon closer inspection, although he was filthy, his upright posture, like that of a pine tree, was unlike that of an ordinary child.
"Your name is Chengli?"
The young man explained politely, “Be loyal to sincerity and follow propriety.”
Looking at him, Mu Chenshuang couldn't help but like this young man, who possessed an aura of righteousness and fearlessness in the face of evil.
"It's a good name. Since your elder brother is with me, you will also be with me from now on, how about that?"
Upon hearing this, Qi Ye suddenly remarked, "This little dwarf can eat more than me. How much work does he have to do to support himself?"
Chengli looked at Qiye. His older brother really didn't recognize him anymore. He always had a bloodthirsty and cold expression and never said anything unnecessary. Now, his older brother had become much more humane.
“I can do a lot of work, I’m not afraid of being tired, sister, I want to follow you and be your servant.”
Mu Chenshuang smiled, "Alright then."
Afterwards, Mu Chenshuang left with Chengli. Qi Ye paid the bill and just turned around to follow.
A moment.
He sensed a terrifying sense of oppression coming from behind him.
He turned around and looked back.
At a glance, one could see the man standing on the second-floor steps. He was dressed in white with a cold face, surrounded by a murderous aura and an evil aura. Even though his eyes, hidden under his eyelids, were not clearly visible, one could still feel the chilling pressure emanating from them.
Qi Ye looked at him, and the hand gripping the sword involuntarily tightened a little.
An invisible, suffocating low pressure permeated the air.
Sudden.
"Seven Nights!"
Mu Chenshuang's voice broke the heavy atmosphere.
Qi Ye let go and turned to look at Mu Chenshuang.
Mu Chenshuang shifted her indifferent and calm gaze from the man standing far away and said lightly, "I'm leaving."
After saying that.
I stepped out of the restaurant.
Qi Ye strode forward to catch up.
Fu Junheng's pupils contracted slightly as he stared at Mu Chenshuang's indifferent departing figure.
Feng Ji stepped forward and said, "Alright, stop looking. Everyone's gone."
He doesn't seem like someone who doesn't care at all.
It's clear that he cares about it very much.
Anyway, he had said everything he needed to say. He wanted Mu Chenshuang to continue treating him, and now it was up to him to decide what to do.
"It's time to go. We just came here to drink." As he spoke, he glanced at the man drinking casually to the side.
He was a member of the Imperial Observatory.
Although Fu Junheng was favored by the emperor and allowed to recuperate here, he was, after all, the crown prince of another country and was bound to be secretly monitored by the Chengtianjian.
On the way back to the Marquis's residence.
Qi Ye suddenly said, "That Crown Prince Jun Heng doesn't seem like a good person at all."
Mu Chenshuang countered, "What do you think a good person should look like?"
Who knows?
