Mu Chenshuang looked up at him, "You seem to have known I was coming to find you."
She wasn't short to begin with, but standing in front of the man, she looked almost a head shorter.
The man bent down slightly towards her, and as he got closer, Mu Chenshuang's heart tightened.
"It's probably because they have a telepathic connection with you."
Mu Chenshuang glared at him fiercely and couldn't help but curse, "You're sick."
Fu Junheng seemed to be used to the word "sick" coming out of her mouth. "I'm not sick, but you're making me sick."
His gentle, handsome face showed no sign of anger whatsoever; on the contrary, he seemed to accept being scolded willingly.
This scene left the steward and guards standing nearby utterly shocked.
Putting aside the fact that His Highness the Crown Prince is usually so cold and intimidating, he still looks so gentle even when being scolded. Is this really their Crown Prince?!
"Please!"
Fu Junheng invited Mu Chenshuang into the room.
Mu Chenshuang glanced at him, then strode into the house.
We entered the living room.
Fu Junheng poured her a glass of warm water and handed it to her. "What do you need me for?"
Mu Chenshuang looked at him and said directly, "Do you still remember what you promised me?"
The words were spoken.
Fu Junheng paused as he poured himself some tea. He remained silent for a moment, seemingly recalling something. "You want to ask about that hairpin."
Mu Chenshuang stared at him intently, trying to discern something from his expression. However, his demeanor remained calm and composed, devoid of any emotional fluctuation, not even the slightest hint of anger she expected. It was as if everything was within his expectations.
"I will naturally do what I promised you."
Hearing his answer, Mu Chenshuang felt a strange unease in her heart.
"Before that, I have a question for you, Shuang'er."
His sudden address and the deep gaze fixed on her made Mu Chenshuang feel a sudden panic.
She didn't even dare to look him in the eye, guiltily avoiding his gaze, "We're not that close yet."
The words had barely left his mouth.
Her arm, which was resting on the coffee table, was suddenly pulled forcefully, and she was lifted up by a force. Her body spun around, and she landed steadily in a familiar, warm embrace.

Fu Junheng embraced the woman's waist without any hesitation, looking at her panicked little expression, her bright eyes, and her rosy cheeks, all of which stirred his heart.

A magnetic, ambiguous voice slowly flowed out, every word, every gentle phrase stimulating Mu Chenshuang's brain.
As he spoke, his head slowly tilted down, his eyes, like a vast abyss, fixed on the woman in his arms. The gentle vortex that his gaze created seemed to want to completely devour her.
Mu Chenshuang felt like she was about to lose all strength. Her heart seemed to have been struck by some force, her heartbeat was accelerating, and her fingers were clenched as if she was trying her best to hold on to the last bit of reason that could take her ashore.
Before she could even come to her senses...
The man buried his face in her neck, his nose close to her skin, and took a deep breath, as if trying to inhale all her fragrance.
"It really smells delicious."
The ambiguous voice was like an electric current stimulating her brain nerves, making her feel as if she was about to drown in this vortex and could hardly breathe.
Sudden.
A wet sensation came from her neck, and in an instant, she felt as if she had been electrocuted. Her whole body tensed up, and she snapped back to reality in terror. She pushed the man away with both hands on his chest, raised her hand to cover her neck, quickly got up and took two steps back, staring at him warily.
She really shouldn't have taken the initiative to find him.
