"Please, please save the Empress! Go and send a message to the Emperor!"
Jade kowtowed as she spoke.
Seeing the Empress faint, Jade panicked. Things were already in complete chaos, and the Empress absolutely could not be allowed to get hurt again!
In the blink of an eye, Jade had kowtowed several times to the crowd, and the sound of her forehead hitting the ground made everyone's hearts tighten.
However, at this point, no one dared to make decisions on their own.
Seeing this, Haitang gave a cold smile.
Just as she was about to turn and leave, a little palace maid suddenly reached out and quietly touched Haitang's arm.
Seeing the maid winking at her, Haitang turned around.
The two arrived in the courtyard, and the young palace maid asked in a low voice.
"Sister Haitang, what should we do now? Her Majesty the Empress has fainted. Should we tell the Emperor about this?"
"Why tell the Emperor? He doesn't even want an Empress anymore, so why would he care whether she lives or dies?"
After Haitang finished speaking, she glared at the house behind her with annoyance.
She had always disliked that Jadeite, and now, karma had finally caught up with her. Seeing that wretched woman groveling before people, Haitang was overjoyed.
"Sister Haitang, you can't think like that. Although the Empress has been imprisoned in the Cold Palace by the Emperor, she is still the Empress. She still holds that title. If one day..."
"One day what?"
Haitang swallowed hard, her whole body tensing up.
"If the Empress ever leaves this cold palace, she will definitely cause trouble for some people. As the saying goes, it's easy to add flowers to brocade, but difficult to provide charcoal in the snow. If we help the Empress, it will be a way to leave ourselves a way out."
The little palace maid spoke very solemnly, and Haitang couldn't help but fall into deep thought after hearing it.
A moment later, Haitang and the little palace maid rushed into the room.
"What are you all doing here? The Empress has fainted and you're just here to laugh at her? Hurry up and get to what you're supposed to be doing. Prepare food and water!"
Haitang stared wide-eyed at everyone.
Everyone was completely bewildered and looked towards Haitang without understanding what was going on.
While others were unaware of what was happening, the palace maids and eunuchs who were cleaning the courtyard knew exactly what was going on.
Although the Empress was weak, she was not so weak that she suddenly fainted.
Today, Haitang argued with the palace maid serving the Empress, repeatedly concluding that the Empress must have found out about the Prime Minister's imprisonment, which caused her to faint from anxiety.
Perhaps Haitang is doing this because she's afraid of bearing too much blame.
Upon realizing that they were also present, the young palace maids, like eunuchs, hurriedly began to direct the crowd.
"Stop staring here, go do whatever you need to do, everyone disperse!"
Before long, besides Emerald, the Empress, and the little palace maid, only Begonia and the little palace maid remained in the room.
The little palace maid who followed Haitang was named Manyue, and she was very clever.
"Don't bother kowtowing or kneeling. I didn't mean to target you today. The Empress is in such a state that we need to call the imperial physician. Don't worry, I'll help you."
Haitang looked at the jade and spoke slowly and deliberately.
Jade was shocked. Although she had raised her head, her eyes were still filled with disbelief.
Is Haitang going to help herself?
