Chapter 53 Gu Yanchen
Gu Yanchen's invitation was scheduled for Monday morning.
The jewelry design exhibition was held in an exhibition hall in the city center.
As soon as Su Jiaojiao reached the entrance of the exhibition hall, she saw Gu Yanchen waiting there. He was wearing a light gray suit and gold-rimmed glasses. His blue eyes were gentle, and his demeanor was refined. He looked like a knowledgeable scholar, yet also like a kind and considerate older brother next door.
"Jiaojiao, you're here."

He held two VIP tickets in his hand and handed one to her:
"Let's go inside."
Su Jiaojiao took the ticket and followed him into the exhibition hall. The hall was brightly lit, and all sorts of jewelry were displayed in glass cases, dazzling and mesmerizing.
"This jewelry design exhibition brings together works from many well-known designers from home and abroad."
As Gu Yanchen walked, he patiently explained to her.
"Look at this piece, it's a creation by the famous designer Cartier, called 'Eternal Love.' It uses the finest diamonds and platinum, and its design is inspired by the eternal vows between lovers."
He pointed to a necklace, his eyes focused:

Su Jiaojiao secretly admired him as she watched him speak eloquently.

"Jiaojiao, look at this necklace."
Gu Yanchen pointed to the necklace and said softly
"The color of this sapphire is very similar to your eyes."
Su Jiaojiao looked up at the necklace in the display case. The sapphire's deep, pure color did indeed resemble her eyes somewhat.
"It really looks like it."

"I think this necklace suits you very well."
Gu Yanchen looked at her with tender eyes.

The reporters bombarded the cameras with questions, and flashes went off incessantly.

"Why are you being so polite with me?"
Gu Yanchen smiled, then carefully tidied her wind-blown hair. His fingertips occasionally brushed against her skin, causing her to recoil as if electrocuted, blush, and lower her head.
Protecting you is my responsibility.
Su Jiaojiao's heart melted at his gentle and shy demeanor.

They continued browsing through the exhibition hall, with Gu Yanchen patiently explaining the design concept and story behind each piece of jewelry, which Su Jiaojiao listened to with great interest.
As they reached a corner, Gu Yanchen suddenly stopped, took a small box from his pocket, and handed it to her.
"Jiaojiao, this is a little gift for you."
Su Jiaojiao took the box, opened it, and found a pair of earrings inside. The earrings had a simple design, consisting of two small pearls, and looked delicate and elegant.
"I designed this myself."
Gu Yanchen's cheeks flushed slightly, and he said a little shyly.
I don't know if you'll like it.
Su Jiaojiao picked up the earring, put it on, and looked at herself in the mirror. The earring suited her perfectly, making her ears appear even smaller and more delicate.
"I really like it," she said with a smile.

"If you like it, that's fine."
Gu Yanchen's eyes shone like stars as he looked at her, his gaze filled with love.
