Chapter 1164: Reversal and Reversal

Chapter 1164: Reversal and Reversal

Villa Eichenhorst, the former residence of King William, was not as popular as it is now, even when William was here. The area around Villa Eichenhorst is now full of cars, which are all interview cars of media reporters from all over the world.

The famous 'Salvage King' recently made a big news, which was also a scandal for British MI6.

British MI6 kidnapped a billionaire? How could such a thing happen in such a peaceful time?

At the beginning, the UK denied it flatly and then accused Xiao Peng of shooting a British citizen. The BBC once again played the role of Britain's mouthpiece. It was originally a case of MI6 kidnapping, but they turned it into a case of brutal murder by the Daxia people. At the same time, they also questioned whether the Dutch police were bribed by Xiao Peng to release wrong information, and published a large number of articles on the misdeeds of the Dutch police.

As a result, at this moment, the usually low-key Dutch side suddenly dropped a bombshell: the two major intelligence agencies of the Netherlands, AVID and MVID, jointly issued a statement, presenting a series of evidence to prove that MI6 was engaged in espionage and kidnapping in the Netherlands, including how they boarded the "Ifrit" as a pilot to approach Xiao Peng; how many people were observing Xiao Peng's ship near the dock; how they bribed railway and subway system staff to create subway malfunctions; how they installed tracking devices in people's bicycles to track and kidnap Xiao Peng. With all the evidence in front of them, the Dutch government lodged the most formal protest to the United Kingdom: protesting that the United Kingdom violated the convention and engaged in espionage in the Netherlands; at the same time, the European Union also stood up to protest against the United Kingdom's small actions within the EU, and at the same time, EU countries began to thoroughly investigate MI6's operations in their own countries!

The British were also confused. "I just left the EU, so why are you retaliating like this?" But the hard evidence was before their eyes, and they could not deny it. The recording provided by Xiao Peng was once again before the public, and this time not only MI6 was implicated, but even the British royal family was involved.

The BBC's reputation had already been greatly affected by its nonsense during the global epidemic, and this time it simply fell to the bottom: at that time, their nonsense was directed at Daxia, and it was the main theme in Europe as a whole; but this time it was different. This time it was nonsense directed at allies, and it also questioned the results of the Dutch police's investigation and challenged the legal systems of other countries. As a result, the BBC was not only criticized to death, but also sued in court and accused of fabricating facts and making false reports.

The Dutch were the most vocal in their criticism: "This is how it is. No matter how much they criticize or assault the police, they are their own police. How can it be outsiders who get to tell them what's going on?" Then, some in the EU also stepped up, launching a vigorous "anti-BBC" campaign across Europe.

Although the Dutch intelligence agency is not well-known, in the intelligence community, anyone who mentions the Dutch intelligence agency will give a thumbs up and say two words: Awesome!

The Netherlands also has two intelligence agencies: AVID, which oversees overseas cyber activities, and MVID, which oversees domestic cyber activities. Unlike the UK and the US, which have numerous overseas spies, MVID is comprised of a team of top hackers. It's essentially the Netherlands' "national hacker team."

Becoming a member of these two organizations is not an easy task. In addition to having superb computer skills, one must be a Dutch citizen and have lived in the Netherlands for the past ten years. One must also pass a political review before joining the organization.

Although the Dutch intelligence agency is not as famous as the four major intelligence agencies, its "record" is really not inferior to the four major intelligence agencies!

In the 1970s, an engineer named A. Q. Khan stole design drawings of high-speed centrifuges and nuclear bombs from a Dutch company. Because of this, A. Q. Khan was called the "Father of Pakistan's Nuclear Bomb". Later, the stolen information flowed into Iran.

In 2000, AVID hacked into the Iranian Ministry of Defense's email server in hopes of finding information about Iran's nuclear tests. This wasn't revealed until August 2002, meaning AVID had spent two years inside a key government department's email server. They also hacked into Khan's European consulting firm, which had been instrumental in building Iran's nuclear test base.

In 2003, Libya's nuclear test program was exposed, and the centrifuge equipment used by Libya was exactly the same model as that used by Iran. It was AVID that discovered all this.

In 2004, they installed hacking software at Iran's Natanz nuclear plant, and Iran's entire nuclear process was exposed to the West!

There is a famous hacker group in the world, namely Russia's APT29. It is also a super hacker group with close ties with Russia. It has always been a headache for the West. The Netherlands' AVID and MVID joined forces to fight APT29.

And they also achieved gratifying results: not only did they hack into APT29's computers, they also took control of a camera in the corridor of one of their bases and filmed everything in that APT29 base.

Their intrusion maintained their authority in APT29's computers for a full year, and during that year APT29 also committed three major incidents: invading the US State Department, invading the White House, and invading the National Committee of the Communist Party of China. All of these were discovered by the Dutch intelligence agency and became evidence of APT29's crimes.

APT29 also became a laughing stock that year: you are watching the scenery on the bridge, and the people watching the scenery are watching you on the bridge.

The Dutch may not trust their police, but they cannot distrust AVID and MVID. They are their pride and the dream jobs for countless computer geniuses.

MI6 was also confused: they had always maintained a good cooperative relationship with the Dutch AVID and MVID, but what had happened this time? A direct exposure and a slap in the face? And the EU's response also caught them off guard.

But in fact, it is also a bad habit: they are used to being the boss in Europe and ignore one fact: they have already left the EU!

The Brexit farce has been dragging on for years, and it's already irritating Europeans. They're now locked in a bitter dispute with France over fisheries. Germany and the Netherlands also have their own agendas. The Netherlands wants to keep Xiao Peng in the Netherlands to improve their European standing, also motivated by a small profit. Germany and France are similarly motivated. Xiao Peng just threatened to dissolve his company, and now this is their chance to shine. Consequently, all countries are lashing out at the downtrodden enemy.

Britain now wants to save its chances, so both the relevant departments and the British royal family have stated that they have nothing to do with it and that they will start various "internal investigations" to get the results as soon as possible.

In fact, it is just a means of delaying time - making big things small and small things nothing.

But they overlooked one person, Xiao Peng.

At this moment, Xiao Peng, the person involved, dropped a "big bomb". Looking at this "bomb", Britain could no longer remain silent.
