Acevedo was almost depressed to death after hearing this: he was afraid of lawyers, but he ended up letting the lawyers catch his men red-handed for being irresponsible!
He said angrily: "Chief Nock, what is going on here?"
Director Nok said with a bitter face: "Director Acevedo, you just told us to ensure the safety of the people inside!"
"Isn't there anyone else imprisoned in there?" Jeff Leslie asked directly. "You're leaving my client unsupervised with a bunch of vicious criminals. I seriously suspect you're seeking personal revenge and wanting to harm my client!"
"A vicious criminal?" Nok looked horrified after hearing this.
"What's with that expression on your face?" Jimmy Chalmers suddenly came to his senses. "Did something happen to Mr. Xiao?"
Acevedo's heart skipped a beat. If something happened to Xiao Peng, there would be no way back!
