Chapter 1826 Chaotic Relationship
If someone asks Norilsk residents what place they least want to go to in the entire city, the answer is basically the same: Norilsk Police Station.
The Norilsk police station's holding cell is particularly terrifying: it's so large it lacks heating, and the temperature is typically -5 or -6 degrees Celsius, freezing people to death. Yet, someone is soundly sleeping inside, tucked into a fur coat, their head completely covered, and all they can hear is snoring.
"He's still sleeping!" A middle-aged Russian man saw this scene through the window on the iron gate, his hands and feet shaking with anger: "Find a way to wake him up! Go get some cold water to wake him up!"
Then a policeman nearby coughed twice and said, "Mr. Borisov, this is against the rules!"
"That's against the rules?" Borisov said angrily, "I am the rule here!"
A policeman said, "Mr. Borisov, we brought him back as you said. We originally wanted to kill him, but Terekin found out and called us to tell us not to touch him!"
Borisov was stunned when he heard this: "Terekin? The old one and the young one?"
"The old one!" the policeman replied. "He's still very concerned about this matter. So we haven't done anything to him yet."
Borisov frowned slightly and suddenly kicked the wall. "That old fellow should have retired from history at his age! Why is he still showing off here? What era is this? You guys catch him and take him to the mining area. I can't kill him!"
The policeman coughed dryly after hearing this and said, "Mr. Borisov, could you two, the big guys, please resolve your conflict among yourselves? Don't make things difficult for us."
Borisov was furious after hearing this: "Do you think I'm looking for trouble? He slept with my wife! And my stepmother!"
"Uh." Several policemen looked at each other, as if they knew something they shouldn't know.
Borisov also knew that he had said the wrong thing. He said with a dark face: "Open the door, I will go in and deal with him myself!"
The policeman frowned and said, "Mr. Borisov, this doesn't make sense!"
Borisov was completely furious: "Lieutenant Zhilin! I asked you to arrest him, but it's unreasonable. Why didn't you tell me? Open the door, I want to go in! Prussiankin, Zhuravlev! The two of you follow me in and beat him up! Lieutenant Zhilin, if you don't open the door now, then you can wait to go into the mine to work!"
The police officer named "Zhilin" felt helpless after hearing this. Borisov was the son of the mayor of Norilsk, and his father was also a senior executive of Norilsk Nickel Company. He was a person who could not be offended here.
The influence of the old Terekhin family here should not be underestimated. He now deeply understands the meaning of "when the king of hell fights, the little devils suffer." Can't you solve any problems on your own?
"Lieutenant Zhilin, open the door!" Borisov snorted coldly, "Lock the door after we go in. No matter what happens, don't open it!"
Lieutenant Zhilin had no choice but to open the iron door of the cell. After watching Borisov and his two bodyguards enter the cell, he locked the door again and said to his men, "Let's go and find Chief Sherbini!"
As soon as they walked out, one of their men whispered, "Lieutenant, did you hear that? Borisov said the guy in there slept with his wife and his stepmother. He's got a pretty strong taste, he doesn't care about age!"
After hearing this, Zhilin lowered her voice and said, "You know shit! Old Borisov married a wife who was only fifteen, and young Borisov married his stepmother's sister who was only sixteen. You said young Borisov is older than his wife's father, let alone his own father! But after all, old Borisov is our mayor, so this matter has not been made public. I only heard Director Sherbini talk about this once when he was drunk."
The other subordinate was confused after hearing this: "This relationship is quite complicated. How should they address each other? Young Borisov's wife calls Old Borisov's wife "sister" and "mom"? Old Borisov's wife calls Young Borisov's wife "sister" and "daughter-in-law"? Old Borisov calls his son "big brother-in-law"? Young Borisov calls his father "little brother-in-law"? Wouldn't this be even more lively when they have children? The son calls the grandson "uncle"? And the grandson calls the son "uncle" too?"
Zhilin blinked: "I can't wrap my head around what you said."
Several men nearby nodded: "We too."
A subordinate nearby suddenly said, "That's not right. Isn't old Borisov with a model?"
"These rich guys change their wives faster than you change your coats! Old Borisov has changed dozens of beauties around him? But those were just for fun. This time they are really getting married." Zhilin said.
"What on earth is that guy doing inside? He's incredibly powerful, isn't he?" another subordinate asked curiously. "And why would old Terekhin stand up and plead for him, even at the cost of offending old Borisov?"
Zhilin said disdainfully, "How should I know? But what is certain is that this person must be very important, otherwise old Terekhin would not have looked for the director. We must quickly tell Director Sherbini that Borisov brought people in and ask him to stop this! Borisov's two bodyguards are not easy to deal with. They are retired special forces from the GRU. We must let Director Sherbini come and stop this before they kill the guy inside. Otherwise, who knows what will happen when old Terekhin gets angry. But I can imagine who will be the unlucky ones when that happens!"
"Boss, what else is there to say? We need to call Chief Shelbini right away!" One of his men became very anxious after hearing this. They didn't want to lose their jobs here.
Although their police are under the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the bureaucratic relationships in Norilsk are complicated, and it is no big deal to deal with a few small policemen who take the blame.
Another police officer said, "Lieutenant Zhilin, the director isn't here right now. By the time we call him, it might be too late! Should we go back and stop Borisov and his bodyguards?"
Lieutenant Zhilin looked at him as if he were a fool. "Go stop Borisov? You go?"
The policeman just stopped talking.
Lieutenant Zhilin smiled bitterly and said, "All we can do now is stay out of trouble. We should honestly call the director and wait for him to handle the matter. Even though there's a chance something might go wrong, at most we'll lose our jobs. But if we go in and become involved, we'll not only lose our jobs but also potentially go to jail! Oh, and we have to tell old Terekin about the situation here! Damn, what the hell is this!"
One of his men frowned upon hearing this and said, "Second Lieutenant Zhilin? Is this the only way we can go?"
Lieutenant Zhilin smiled bitterly and said, "Unless the guy sleeping inside can knock Borisov and the others down, I feel like we're probably going to be in big trouble."
“…Is that possible?”
