After a while, Zishou finally came to his senses. He quickly took out a pill and a black scripture from his pocket and hurried after Tang Sanzang.
He then handed them to Tang Sanzang, saying, "Holy Monk, you are very righteous. Although this pill cannot restore this body, it can alleviate some of the pain."
Then Zishou pointed to the scripture and said...
"That scripture, it is said, can not only purify the mind if recited devoutly every day, but also cleanse the soul, and purify and elevate the mind."
As he said those words, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a subtle, sinister smile.
Upon seeing this, Tang Sanzang was deeply grateful for Zishou's generosity.
He looked at Zishou with deep respect, his eyes revealing genuine emotion.
Then, he carefully accepted the pills and scriptures, and solemnly said, "In that case, this humble monk thanks you for your kindness."
However, at that very moment, the sky suddenly burst into a dazzling display of light.
Everyone looked up in astonishment and saw a white figure appear in mid-air.
The person was dressed in pure white, with a beautiful face, like a fairy descended from heaven.
She stood on a lotus platform, holding a jade vase in her hands. Inside the vase was a green willow branch that swayed gently, emitting a faint fragrance.
Beside her stood a handsome young man, tall and imposing, who was none other than Ao Lie, the third prince of the West Sea Dragon King, who was transformed from a white dragon.
When Yang Jian saw Guanyin Bodhisattva appear, his face darkened, and a hint of anger flashed in his eyes.
He stared intently at Guanyin, making no attempt to conceal his displeasure, and shouted sternly, "Cihang!"
Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled slightly, a smile as gentle and kind as a spring breeze.
She slowly said, "The Cihang Zhenren is a thing of the past; I am now Guanyin Bodhisattva of Buddhism!"
Her voice was clear and melodious, like heavenly music, echoing in the air.
Upon hearing this, Yang Jian snorted coldly, clearly dissatisfied with Guanyin Bodhisattva's explanation.
But he didn't argue any further, remaining silent as if suppressing his anger.
Because he had just sensed from Guanyin's aura that Guanyin was now a powerful ninth-level Great Luo Golden Immortal, only one step away from becoming a Quasi-Saint.
Such a difference in strength is beyond what he, who has just been promoted to the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, can contend with.
Upon seeing this, Tang Sanzang knelt down and kowtowed without hesitation, shouting, "Sanzang greets Guanyin Bodhisattva!"

Guanyin nodded slightly, signaling Tang Sanzang to stand up, and then spoke again: "Since the White Dragon ate your white horse, then from now on, let the White Dragon be Sanzang's mount."

Then, in a flash, he transformed into a pure white horse, standing quietly beside Tang Sanzang.
Guanyin watched this scene, nodded in satisfaction, and then transformed into a ray of light, instantly disappearing from the spot.
And so, the journey westward gained another member.
A month later, Tang Sanzang, Yang Jian, Zishou, and the White Dragon Horse traveled westward and finally arrived at the foot of a huge mountain.
This mountain has a unique shape, resembling five fingers piercing the sky, giving people a majestic and spectacular feeling.
Yang Jian and Zi Shou were both powerful beings at the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, and their eyesight was naturally extraordinary. They could tell at a glance that the one being suppressed under the mountain was none other than Sun Wukong.
Back then, that monkey caused chaos in the Heavenly Court, and almost everyone in the prehistoric world knew him.
When Tang Sanzang heard Sun Wukong's cries for help, he did not hesitate to remove the Buddha's golden tablet and rescue the monkey from under the Five Elements Mountain.
And so, the five-person team for the westward journey was finally complete!
With Sun Wukong joining the journey, things have become much more lively.
Yang Jian and Zishou were no longer as bored as before. They would tease the monkey from time to time and make fun of Tang Sanzang, making their journey to the West much more interesting.
Moreover, Sun Wukong basically dealt with all the demons they encountered along the way.
Yang Jian and Zi Shou only lend a hand when the monkey can't handle the situation.
After all, at this time, the monkey's cultivation level was only at the quasi-Great Luo Golden Immortal level.
Time flies, and ten years have passed since the westward journey.
On this day, the five-person journey to the west finally arrived at the Women's Kingdom of Xiliang.
Along the way, Yang Jian and Zishou did cause Tang Sanzang's Buddhist heart to waver quite a bit, but they were all just minor, insignificant troubles.
However, upon arriving in the Women's Kingdom, Yang Jian and Zishou were surprised to discover that Tang Sanzang and the Queen of the Women's Kingdom seemed to have undergone some different changes as they spent more time together...
The originally resolute Tang Sanzang found a ripple in his heart at some unknown time. It was a feeling he had never experienced before, as if something had gently touched the depths of his soul.
Yang Jian and Zishou keenly sensed this change. They exchanged a knowing smile, both believing it to be a golden opportunity to shatter Tang Sanzang's Buddhist heart and cause him to fall into utter depravity.
After discussing it, Yang Jian and Zi Shou decided that Zi Shou would carry out the plan.
After all, Zi Shou was once King Zhou, so he was very skilled at manipulating people's minds and bewitching them.
So, on this day, Zishou specially sought out Tang Seng, ostensibly to discuss Buddhism with him.
When Tang Sanzang saw Zishou arrive, he was somewhat surprised, but he still readily agreed.
The two sat down cross-legged in a quiet place. Zi Shou spoke first, asking humbly, "May I ask, Holy Monk, what is Buddha?"
