Since Zhang Youyou hadn't been living in the dormitory recently, the three of them weren't as discreet when talking to each other.
Liu Ping put away her workout clothes, Li Yanyan was still sending WeChat messages, and Cheng Qiu was diligently knitting a scarf.
"You're really patient. I see you've knitted several already, why are you still knitting?" Liu Ping asked Cheng Qiu as she put the clothes into the wardrobe.
"There aren't many, I just finished knitting one," Cheng Qiu said.
The conversation between the two piqued Li Yanyan's interest. She leaned down and looked at Cheng Qiu curiously, asking, "Are you planning to give the scarf you've knitted to your crush?"
Cheng Qiu thought for a moment and nodded.
The two were immediately taken aback.
"Really? You have someone you like?"
Seeing this, Cheng Qiu didn't hide anything and said somewhat embarrassedly, "Actually, I was planning to give it to you."
The two were taken aback. Cheng Qiu continued, "We've known each other for almost a semester and I haven't given you any decent gifts yet. I was thinking of giving each of you a scarf for Christmas. I hope you won't be upset if I tell you this now?"
Li Yanyan stepped forward and hugged her from behind, laughing as she said, "How could that be? I was just saying before that your knitting skills are really good. You knitted such a good scarf on your first try and I even wanted you to knit one for me. Now, my dream has come true!"
Li Yanyan also got off the bed and leaned against her desk, saying to her, "I only knew you were good at studying before, but I didn't expect you to be so thoughtful. You even thought of giving us gifts. I didn't know what to give you!"
Cheng Qiu looked at her teasingly and said, "That's easy, just introduce us to some handsome guys!"
Li Yanyan patted her shoulder with a smile, and the two held hands and laughed.
"That's easy. What kind of person are you looking for? Tall or short? Fat or thin? White or black? Old or young? I have them all here!" Li Yanyan said proudly.
Liu Ping pursed her lips, leaned back, and hesitated before asking, "You're not planning to open a marriage agency, are you?"
Li Yanyan tilted her chin up and said with feigned arrogance, "It's not impossible!"
Cheng Qiu chuckled and patted her on the shoulder. Li Yanyan immediately stopped joking and said seriously, "I can't say anything else, but there's definitely something going on between Lao Yao and Li Donghao!"
The three of them became interested when this was mentioned.
"Yes, yes, I feel the same way!" Cheng Qiu echoed. "Before, Youyou acted as if she wanted to never see him again, but now she's going to stay with him. That's so contradictory. If there's no problem, then there's really a problem!"
Li Yanyan nodded firmly, "That's what I think too! I also heard that because of the previous explosion, the school is now keeping a much tighter watch on them!"
As she spoke, Li Yanyan leaned closer to them and whispered, "According to reliable sources, Li Donghao has been staying at the school for over a week!" She then gave them a wink, and the two understood immediately.
“I feel that Youyou has been acting a little different lately. I often see her holding her phone and smiling to herself. The day before yesterday, when she was reading in the library, she was completely absorbed in her book. She barely turned a page in the book for three hours!” Liu Ping added.
Li Yanyan immediately transformed into Detective Conan, pretending to be profound, and said, "In my opinion, there's a 99% chance that something's wrong between these two, and it's a good thing. We'll have to wait until Christmas to find out the specifics!"
