Chapter 130, Teasing Her

Chapter 130, Teasing Her

Unexpectedly, he answered like that. Zhang Youyou just glanced at him and continued to lie on the bank, looking at the river.

The sky was a deep blue, its reflection rippling gently in the river. The two people, one lying down and one standing, remained silent, simply gazing at the water.

As the sun set and the temperature dropped, Li Donghao called her to the restaurant. Zhang Youyou showed no dissatisfaction and obediently followed him to the restaurant.

He hadn't noticed it when they were outside, but once they got into the restaurant, he realized her cheeks and nose were red from the cold. Li Donghao regretted letting her stay outside for so long.

"Two glasses of warm water!" As soon as he sat down, Li Donghao immediately asked for hot water. Zhang Youyou gave him a disapproving look and told the waiter she wanted orange juice. Li Donghao had no choice but to ask for warm water and orange juice.

"You must have been freezing just now?" Li Donghao sat down next to her to warm her hands, but she refused.

"How could my hands be cold when they're tucked into my sleeves? But the environment here is quite nice. Do you come here often?" Zhang Youyou didn't mind the two of them sitting on one side at all.

Thinking she was testing him, Lee Dong-ho laughed instead of getting angry, "Do you think I have that kind of time?"

Zhang Youyou shrugged indifferently and turned his head to look out the window. Sure enough, the view was expansive, allowing him to see the entire process of the fireworks taking off and bursting into bloom.

"It's a pity Dongshuo can't see!" Zhang Youyou couldn't help but sigh. As soon as she finished speaking, someone grabbed her chin and forced her to turn her head. Zhang Youyou looked at him in confusion, only to feel that Li Donghao's smile contained an unspeakable threat.

"How can you think about other people when you're with me?"

Zhang Youyou pushed his hand away in dissatisfaction, rubbed her sore chin, and retorted, "He's your brother!"

Li Donghao pressed his hand against her face again, forcing her to look at him: "He's a man too, and a man you were betrothed to as a child!"

It turned out he was jealous. Upon realizing this, Zhang Youyou felt a mix of sweetness and bitterness, and her already red nose and cheeks turned even redder.

"Are you crazy?!" Zhang Youyou was so flustered by him that her usually quick wit became tongue-tied, and she could only turn her back to him and sulk.

Seeing her like this, Li Donghao didn't dare to make too much of a fuss. Just then, the waiter brought over some warm water and orange juice. Li Donghao gave her the warm water first to warm her up. When he saw that she still wouldn't turn around, he got up and went to the other side. Only then did Zhang Youyou sit up straight, but she didn't look at him.

Having just confessed his feelings, Li Donghao didn't dare to anger her. He apologized repeatedly and handed her the menu. Zhang Youyou immediately turned her anger into appetite and ordered whatever she wanted from the menu.

Lee Dong-ho looked at her resignedly, hoping that tonight's dinner and fireworks would ease her dissatisfaction.

He ordered a bunch of his favorite dishes before handing him the menu. Li Donghao had nothing left to order and silently prayed that he wouldn't overeat tonight.

The two sat facing each other. Zhang Youyou didn't dare to look at him, so she rested her chin on her hand and looked out the window waiting for the fireworks. Li Donghao, on the other hand, looked at her without any attempt to hide it, and occasionally said a few words.

"The fireworks won't start until 8:30 PM, you're waiting too early," Li Donghao reminded him.

"Isn't this what you wanted to come? Have you changed your mind?" Zhang Youyou retorted without even looking at him. She found that as long as she wasn't face-to-face with him, she could still retain a sliver of rationality.

“Of course not, I was just worried you’d get bored,” Li Donghao said.

Zhang Youyou finally looked at him and said seriously, "If you're worried that I'll get bored, you can find something to do to keep me entertained!"

"What is it?" He reached out to grab her hand, but Zhang Youyou saw through his plan, withdrew her hand beforehand, and smiled smugly at him.

It was just a joke to tease her, and since her mood improved, the goal was achieved.

"The most important thing to me is to make you happy, and now, I've achieved that!"

Zhang Youyou immediately dropped her joking expression when she saw his serious expression.
