Chapter 156, Enduring Injustice
Zhang Youyou didn't sleep all night, and when dawn broke, she slowly closed her eyes because she couldn't take it anymore. She didn't wake up until Li Donghao came over.
If it weren't for needing to go to the toilet, Zhang Youyou would probably still be asleep.
She walked out of the room in a daze and went straight to the bathroom. Li Donghao was just sitting on the sofa watching her. Zhang Youyou was completely unaware. After she finished, she lay back down on the bed.
Mrs. Zhang brought fruit from the kitchen, and could only sigh when she saw her daughter's appearance.
"This child is really outrageous! She just does whatever she wants now that she's on vacation!" Zhang's mother put down the fruit and expressed her helplessness towards her daughter's behavior.
“It’s okay, she’s always been like this.” Li Donghao smiled as he looked at her door.
Li Donghao didn't tell Zhang's mother that she was being quite well-behaved; she was even more outrageous when she lived with him. But he felt it was their little secret and he didn't want to tell her.
Mrs. Zhang sat down beside her, nervously rubbing her hands together, and asked, "Does she act like this at your house too?"
Lee Dong-ho thought she was asking about their private life, so he didn't dare to say it directly. He only said that he lived at school most of the time and was very serious about his studies.
After hearing this, Zhang's mother realized he had misunderstood, so she changed her story and said it was at the Li family's old house, which relieved Li Donghao.
“She is very well-behaved at home. She has Dong-seok at school and her grandfather at home, so no one dares to bully her.”
Although he spoke sincerely, after all, she was his daughter, and even though they rarely lived together, he knew her to some extent. But since he had said so, Zhang's mother had no choice but to nod in agreement.
After sleeping for a while, Zhang Youyou finally woke up. She lay in bed long enough before getting up to find something to eat. When she opened the door, she saw Li Donghao sitting on the sofa playing on his phone. Zhang Youyou was stunned, clearly having forgotten what she had promised him last night.
"Why are you here?" Zhang Youyou walked towards him.
Li Donghao then looked up from his phone, and seeing her puzzled expression, he returned the phone to the home screen, pointed to the time, and said, "2:32 PM, you can really sleep!"
Zhang Youyou stepped back with disdain, "I'm on vacation, it's my freedom to get up whenever I want!" After saying that, she turned and walked towards the bathroom.
Lee Dong-ho was unable to refute this.

After saying that, she closed her eyes as if waiting for the sword of judgment to fall. But the sword didn't fall. Instead, Li Donghao's large hand gently landed on her head. Zhang Youyou opened one eye, and seeing that he didn't intend to scold her, she slowly opened the other eye.

Lee Dong-ho bent down, looked into her eyes, and asked, "Aren't you hungry? Go change your clothes, I'll treat you to dinner!"
