Chapter 175, School Starts
Zhang Youyou stayed at home alone for more than ten days. Occasionally, Li Donghao would come home early and the two of them would have some rare time together, but most of the time Zhang Youyou was at home alone. It was cold, and she was too lazy to go out, so she just ate and drank and had a relatively happy time.
When the first day of school arrived, Zhang Youyou didn't go with Li Donghao. Instead, she went to school close to noon and cheered happily when she saw her roommate.
The four of them tidied up their dorm room and went to eat together. Except for Liu Ping, the super fitness enthusiast, the other three had all gained weight, especially Zhang Youyou.
“I don’t think Youyou looks like she’s gained weight, but rather like she’s been nourished by love!” Li Yanyan’s emotional intelligence was always on point, and Zhang Youyou conceded defeat.
"I'm with him!" she said, then lowered her head shyly.
The eldest, Cheng Qiu, looked at her with a puzzled expression, then at the other two. The three of them stared at each other for a moment, then looked at her with an incredulous expression.
"You're not dating Lee Dong-ho, are you?"
It was rare to see the three of them so united. Zhang Youyou closed her eyes, blushed, and nodded.
A gasp and heavy breathing came from beside her, and Zhang Youyou didn't dare open her eyes. She felt utterly ashamed, remembering how she had introduced Li Donghao to a girlfriend.
As she expected, the three of them wouldn't let her off the hook from the restaurant to the dormitory. Zhang Youyou had no choice but to confess, but of course she glossed over the things she couldn't say.
Because of this shocking revelation, Zhang Youyou was almost forced to stay overnight. If she hadn't said she hadn't brought any change of clothes, they probably wouldn't have let her leave at all.
It was rare for Li Donghao to come home early today. Zhang Youyou told him that she had told her roommates about their relationship, and she thought he would mind. Unexpectedly, he only thought for a while and then told her that he didn't have time recently, but he would treat her roommates to dinner after he finished his busy period. Zhang Youyou was shocked.
"Why? Why did you invite them to dinner?" Zhang Youyou pressed for an answer.
Lee Dong-ho smiled and patted her head, "Of course it's to thank them for taking care of you!"
“I can take care of myself!” Zhang Youyou retorted.
"Yes, yes, my Youyou can take care of herself!" Li Donghao stood in front of her, bent down and kissed her forehead. "So, what does my Youyou want to eat today?"
Zhang Youyou's eyes lit up, and she said with a smile, "I want to eat boiled sliced pork!"
"good!"
After the start of the semester, the workload became much heavier, but Zhang Youyou still chose to stay at Li Donghao's house most of the time. Mainly because staying at his house was more comfortable than staying in the dormitory. At least it would be much more convenient if she wanted to cook something special. Moreover, she often went out to eat, drink, and have fun with her roommates, and she was very comfortable.
The main reason she can be so free is that Li Donghao has been too busy lately and often stays in the dormitory. Fortunately, he will make time to send her WeChat messages, and that's how the two went from roommates to online friends.
"Your hair has grown so much, do you want to grow it long?"
The Lunar New Year is finally over, and Zhang Youyou's roommates are already planning to get haircuts, while her hair is already big enough to be tied into a ponytail.
"I don't know!" Zhang Youyou said, looking at herself in the mirror. She used to keep her hair short for convenience, and although her studies were still tiring, they were much better than in high school, so whether or not to grow her hair long was entirely up to her.
“Grow your hair long!” Li Yanyan suggested. “I think Youyou looks quite good with long hair. Before, he had a bob, which made him look too childish. He didn’t look like a couple with his senior. Now that he has long hair, he looks more mature. The two of them are a good match!”
Ever since they found out that Zhang Youyou and Li Donghao were together, they stopped joking around with Li Donghao and stopped calling him teaching assistant, instead addressing him as senior.
Originally, he was a year older than them, so calling him "senior" was fine. Of course, another reason they called him "senior" was to protect their relationship and prevent Zhang Youyou from being disturbed. After all, there were many people pursuing Li Donghao, and he couldn't be by her side all the time, so using a special title was very convenient.
Zhang Youyou didn't want to waste time on this kind of thing, so she simply let them be.
