After two days of research, I finally decided to travel by car.
Zhang Youyou prepared a sun hat and beach dress for herself, wanting to fully enjoy the summer. In addition to preparing his own change of clothes, Li Donghao prepared more items needed for the trip, filling the originally spacious SUV to the brim.
"I miss my car!" Zhang Youyou blurted out from the passenger seat.
"How about I have the driver bring it over to you?" Li Donghao asked with a smile.

"Hey, you gave me a car before, what are you planning to give me for my next birthday?"

"I want a house!"
Li Donghao remained calm.
"Didn't you say before that you wanted to buy a house? Have you chosen one?"
"I don't dare to choose anymore." Zhang Youyou leaned back dejectedly. "The housing prices are too high, I can't afford them."
"Surely not? Your annual red envelopes are quite generous!"
"The red envelope is quite generous, but I also need to live. The allowance my parents give me is not enough at all. In addition, the various expenses for school are not small. Moreover, I have looked into it and found that buying a house and decorating it are bottomless pits. I have to make plans!"
It was rare for her to consider so much, and Li Donghao felt very gratified.

Where do you want to buy it? In your hometown or around here?
"My hometown!" Zhang Youyou said helplessly. After all, she was not used to living with her parents. If she went back to her hometown, she would either stay at the Li family's house or go to her parents' house. It was better during the Spring Festival when she stayed at Li Donghao's house for a while, but it was not a long-term solution. Even though the two of them were in a relationship now, they needed their own space.
"Okay, I'll take a look for you."
It was rare for him to be so considerate, and Zhang Youyou really wanted to rush up and hug him and kiss him, but unfortunately he was driving and she couldn't move.
It took the couple nearly three hours to get from their home to their booked hotel in H City, roughly the same time as the map indicated. After parking the car, they dragged their suitcases to the lobby to check in.
When Zhang Youyou arrived at the room, he was stunned to find that he had chosen a twin room.
"This...this..." She pointed to the side of the bed with one hand, looked at him, opened her mouth but couldn't say a word.
"Isn't it good?" Li Donghao asked knowingly. "Look at the nice view outside the window, and it even has a private bathroom. It's great value for money, isn't it!"
Zhang Youyou gestured with her hands, her mouth open but unable to speak.
Li Donghao closed the door, smiled, put his hands on her shoulders and helped her sit on the edge of the bed. He bent down and looked into her eyes with sincerity: "We're only staying here for a few days, so there's no need to choose a big room. Besides, if there's a guesthouse you like, we can move there anytime. In addition, hotels are crowded and noisy, so it's not safe to stay separately!"
He was right, but Zhang Youyou felt a little uncomfortable at the thought of living in the same room as him.
Although they lived together before, they each had their own room and there were no conflicts. Now, even though there are two beds, they still don't feel used to it.
Zhang Youyou felt like she was going crazy. She couldn't think of a reason to refuse, but she didn't know how to accept either. Life was too hard!
Seeing her struggle, Li Donghao smiled and kissed her forehead, then her lips, until she couldn't breathe before he let go.

They set off early in the morning and traveled for nearly three hours. Zhang Youyou was tired, so Li Donghao didn't force her. After all, they were on vacation, and the most important thing was to be comfortable. He wanted to order lunch at the hotel, but she refused.
“Since we’re out here, we should try the local food!” Zhang Youyou said matter-of-factly.
So the two rested for a while, packed their things, and went out to find food together.
