Chapter 3, Rage

Chapter 3, Rage

In the afternoon, when no one was in the dormitory, Zhang Youyou dialed Li Dongshuo's number. Soon, Li Dongshuo's hurried voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Heal him, quick!"

Already angry, Zhang Youyou's anger reached a breaking point with his tone and words. Forgetting all about being a lady, she yelled into the phone, "Li Dongshuo, you bastard!"

The other side fell silent.

After a while, Li Dongshuo's submissive voice came from the other end of the phone, but it did nothing to quell Zhang Youyou's anger.

Why didn't you tell me your brother became a teaching assistant?

Lee Dong-seok was completely bewildered. "My brother? Teaching assistant? Are you kidding me? Isn't he pursuing a doctorate?"

"You still dare to say that? He came with our professor today; he's our professor's teaching assistant!" Zhang Youyou was going crazy. The thought of studying under his nose for the next four years filled her with immense pressure.

"No wonder you went to H University. Did you run away because you knew he was a teaching assistant?"

Lee Dong-seok felt wronged. He really didn't know his brother was going to be a teaching assistant. However, he had carefully considered applying to H University at the last minute because he preferred it there. Besides, his brother was at F University, and if he went there too, he would inevitably be compared to others. He had had enough of that kind of life from elementary school to high school, so he chose H University when he applied. He just didn't tell her.

Zhang Youyou felt her blood pressure was about to explode. She punched the baby in her arms a few times and cursed loudly. Li Dongshuo had no choice but to coax her. What could he do? She was the little princess of the Zhang and Li families. Although she was two months older than him, she was still a little princess.

"Oh, actually my brother is a really nice guy, don't be prejudiced against him! Besides, you two have known each other longer than I have, maybe you can develop your relationship while you're in school and get married after graduation, then Grandpa will be overjoyed!"

So he was still planning this all along. How could she possibly let him have his way?

Holding a phone in one hand and a doll in the other, Zhang Youyou said firmly, "Li Dongshuo, let me tell you, if you can't persuade Grandpa to change his mind, I'll take you to get a marriage certificate after graduation. Then I'll tie you down for life and make sure you can never flirt with girls again!"

"Oh, don't..." Before Li Dongshuo could finish speaking, Zhang Youyou hung up the phone, sighed helplessly, and thought about locking the screen, but then sent a WeChat message to his brother instead.

"You went to work as a teaching assistant?" Unfortunately, he waited for almost ten minutes without any reply, so Li Dongshuo gave up and called his roommates to play games again.

After hanging up the phone, Zhang Youyou's mood didn't improve. In the past, when she was at home, she would beat Li Dongshuo by pinning him down on the bed, the floor, and the sofa when she was in a bad mood. But now that he had gone to H University, she had nowhere to vent her anger. She angrily punched the doll. Just as Zhang Youyou was about to go online, she received a WeChat message from Li Donghao.

"Grandpa is coming next Saturday, remember to come to my house." This simple sentence left her speechless with frustration, unable to even utter a word of refusal.

To be honest, she missed her grandfather. This was her first time studying away from home, which was very different from before. Fortunately, her roommates were nice and took good care of her. Although they were more interested in getting information about Li Donghao from her, girls like to talk about handsome guys and gossip, right?

Speaking of Li Donghao, he's quite good-looking. If they weren't so familiar with each other, she might have fallen for him too. But it's a pity, she's known him since childhood. Despite his good looks, he's actually cunning and sharp-tongued. As one of the victims, Zhang Youyou has a lot to say about this, but it seems that her opinion is useless now because her roommate has too much of a bias against him. Zhang Youyou can't help but sigh: having a good-looking face can indeed reduce a lot of unfavorable factors.
