Chapter 46, Comparison
Because of her confrontation with Teacher Jiang, Zhang Youyou became famous at school. Many people admired her for daring to talk back to the teacher. Only Zhang Youyou knew that without Li Donghao's protection, how could she have had the opportunity to confront the teacher? But it was too late to say anything now. She had cleared her name. She just didn't know what would happen to that girl.
Feeling increasingly uneasy, Zhang Youyou went to classroom 13 in the afternoon to look for the girl, but she didn't see her. She regretted not asking the girl's name, and now she couldn't even find her.

"Yeah." Zhang Youyou replied casually, then immediately regretted it. Li Donghao had warned her not to say anything carelessly, and she had just called him out on it. She hoped he wouldn't find out.
Whether Li Donghao knew or not was unclear, but Cheng Qiu heard it. She rushed to Zhang Youyou's side, put her arm around her shoulder, and asked curiously, "Are you serious?"
The result of blurting it out was that she had to make up a lie. Zhang Youyou's heart was in turmoil, but she forced a smile and said, "I was just saying. Think about it, if someone is in their twenties and has never been in a relationship, either they have someone in their heart or they are sexually frigid. Judging from his appearance, I guess the former is more likely."
After hearing what she said, Cheng Qiu thought it made sense, nodded, and then asked, "Aren't you childhood sweethearts? Don't you know if he has someone he likes?"
Zhang Youyou rolled her eyes in annoyance and said resentfully, "I've just known him for a longer time. When it comes to childhood sweethearts, it's his younger brother and me."
Cheng Qiu's interest grew stronger. She pulled over a chair, rested her chin on her hand, and looked at her curiously, saying, "He has a younger brother? What's his brother like? Is he a good person? Is he handsome?"
When the topic turned to Li Dongshuo, Zhang Youyou launched into a long explanation, listing all of Li Dongshuo's strengths and weaknesses. She even proudly told Cheng Qiu that she could beat up Li Dongshuo whenever she was unhappy, and that her grandfather always sided with her, so Li Dongshuo never dared to provoke her. As she spoke, Zhang Youyou held her chin up like a haughty queen.
Cheng Qiu clapped in shock and admiration, and even gave her a thumbs up. Zhang Youyou became even more proud after receiving recognition, but Cheng Qiu's next words made her face fall.
"You're so tough on Lee Dong-seok, so why are you like a mouse before a cat when you're with Lee Dong-ho?"
Zhang Youyou gritted her teeth and clenched her hands so tightly that her fingers almost cracked. Cheng Qiu immediately tried to slip away, but she still managed to grab her by the back of her neck.
"Heroine, spare my life! I was blind and didn't recognize your greatness. Please let me go!"
