Chapter 83, Noisy

Chapter 83, Noisy

The chandelier emitted a white light that illuminated the entire living room, instantly turning the originally relaxed atmosphere into one of oppression.

Zhang Youyou glanced at Li Donghao standing beside her, slowly stretched out her foot to get up and leave, but was pulled away by Li Donghao as soon as she stood up.

Lee Dong-seok's eyes almost popped out of their sockets, but he didn't dare to step forward. It was obvious that this was a problem between the two of them, and he couldn't interfere. He could only sit there obediently and watch as Zhang Youyou was pulled into the bedroom.

My god, what kind of melodramatic Mary Sue plot is this? Did he time travel? As Lee Dong-seok was lost in thought, he heard a "bang" as the door closed. Lee Dong-seok suddenly felt that he shouldn't be here, but where could he go in the middle of the night?

Adhering to the principle of not looking at or listening to what is improper, Lee Dong-seok chose to enter the room opposite the living room, the one furthest from their bedroom, and gently closed the door.

Whew~~~ Finally, I can't hear their arguing anymore, Lee Dong-seok breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

However, the two people in the bedroom were not so relaxed.

Li Donghao threw her onto the bed and placed the half-eaten box of ice cream on the bedside table. Zhang Youyou glared at him with red eyes.

"Li Donghao, are you sick?" Zhang Youyou, who had been suppressing her anger for too long, finally roared out. She tried to move away, but he grabbed her arm again.

"Let go, let go!" Zhang Youyou kicked and punched, but he couldn't make him loosen his grip even a little.

"Have you made enough of a scene?" Even the usually gentle and refined Li Donghao roared, and Zhang Youyou's tears immediately fell.

I knew he didn't like me. He acted so mature and composed in front of Grandpa before, it was all a lie!

He was initially just angry that she and Lee Dong-seok were going to get married after graduation, but when he saw her cry, all his armor fell off, and Lee Dong-ho instinctively hugged her and kissed the top of her head.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you!"

Zhang Youyou was held tightly in his arms. She couldn't speak and could only hit him with her hands, but he didn't care and even hugged her tighter.

Zhang Youyou felt both ashamed and wronged, and tears kept falling, soaking his pajamas.

Li Donghao was at a loss. He didn't want her to be with someone else, but he didn't dare to confess his feelings directly. Caught between friendship and love, he didn't know what to do.

She cried until she was exhausted, then stopped hitting him and just let him hold her, her eyes vacant.

Noticing her change, Lee Dong-ho loosened his grip on her arm slightly and looked down to see that her eyes were glazed over and her movements were stiff. Lee Dong-ho was terrified and immediately bent down to ask her what was wrong.

Zhang Youyou's blank expression finally eased. Looking at Li Donghao's worried face, she choked out, "Li Donghao, don't worry about me."

Li Donghao felt as if his heart had been hit hard, and before he could even feel the pain, he forgot to breathe.

Zhang Youyou didn't want to get entangled with him anymore and turned to leave. Before she even reached the door, someone hugged her from behind. Heavy breathing echoed in her ears, and Zhang Youyou felt her heart inexplicably race. Before she could think, she was interrupted by a deep voice.

"I'm sorry, Youyou, I shouldn't have been so mean to you."

Zhang Youyou suppressed her grievances and did not respond.

"I was wrong!"

I was holding back my tears, but when I heard that sentence, the tears that I had finally managed to stop started flowing again.

"Bastard! You bastard!" Zhang Youyou turned around and punched and kicked him. Li Donghao silently accepted it until she cried and hit him until she couldn't open her eyes anymore. Only then did Li Donghao pick her up. After thinking for a moment, he put her on his bed, covered her with a blanket, and sat on the floor looking at her tear-stained face. Finally, he got up, wrung out a wet towel, and wiped her clean.

Although he is an adult, he is still a child at heart. If he were to say those things to her now, it would probably only push her further away. For the sake of the future, he can only endure it.
