Chapter 86, My Thoughts
The late autumn night was a bit chilly, but thankfully the air conditioning was on full blast, so it wasn't too cold. The heavy curtains blocked out the outside lights, while the chandelier illuminated the bedroom. Zhang Youyou, wrapped in a dark gray blanket, huddled on the bed, staring intently at Li Donghao, who was sitting wearily in a chair wearing dark blue pajamas, his eyes practically spitting fire.
They were like oil and water during the day, how come they're sleeping in the same bed at night? Where's Lee Dong-seok? Wasn't he sleeping with Dong-ho? Why is she the one sleeping with him now?
After a busy day and a few drinks in the evening, Li Donghao's brain had long since fallen into a deep sleep. He was woken up by Zhang Youyou, but he was not fully awake yet. He propped his head up on the table with his arm.
Zhang Youyou pouted, glanced sideways at the drowsy Li Donghao, then lifted the blanket slightly to check her clothes, making sure they were intact before slowly getting off the bed. Because he was sitting near the door, Zhang Youyou had to pass in front of him to get out. She cautiously approached him, and just as she was about to run away, he reached out and blocked her way. Before she could react, he pulled her into his arms. Zhang Youyou cried out, but he covered her mouth. She looked at him in horror.
"Stop messing around!" Lee Dong-ho's head was spinning, but he still had a sliver of consciousness left. "Don't wake Dong-seok."
She felt wronged, angry, and somewhat resentful, but unfortunately, she was outnumbered and outmatched by Li Donghao.
Seeing her face turn red and tears welling up, Li Donghao leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Don't be silly, I'll let you go."
Zhang Youyou blinked to indicate her agreement.
Li Donghao reluctantly let go of her hand. Zhang Youyou stood up, spat a few times at the side, glared at him fiercely, and finally kicked him before quickly fleeing the master bedroom. Li Donghao glanced at his shin where she had kicked him and smiled helplessly. He sat for a while before getting up and returning to bed. She had only been gone a short while, and the blankets were still warm. Li Donghao comfortably lay down and continued to sleep. Zhang Youyou, on the other hand, ran back to her room and slammed the door shut behind her. Then she touched her lips with her hand. She hadn't even had a chance to bite back when he covered her mouth, and now she had no chance even if she could.
After Zhang Youyou calmed down completely in the room, she went to the bathroom to wash up, took a shower, and finally climbed into bed. Recalling what had just happened, she couldn't help but blush.
There's no doubt that Lee Dong-ho is handsome; however, she never imagined that she would have the chance to share a bed with him after growing up.
She remembered that when she was little, she liked Donghao very much and often pestered him. Sometimes when she had nightmares in the middle of the night, she would ask Donghao to coax her to sleep. Although Li Donghao found her annoying, he still patiently coaxed her. But later, as she grew up, she gradually became less close to Li Donghao. The most important turning point was when Li Donghao was in junior high school.
Li Donghao is handsome and kind, and many people have liked him since he was a child. He often goes out with his classmates and friends, including some female classmates who have feelings for him. At first, Zhang Youyou didn't care, but later a girl often hung out with him, and Zhang Youyou had a big fight with him about it, and they stopped being close.
After losing her brother Dong-ho, Lee Dong-seok became her only playmate. She would bully him when she was happy and when she was unhappy. Lee Dong-seok suffered greatly because of this, but he could not get rid of it.
Now, after going through so many twists and turns, she is entangled with Li Donghao again, leaving Zhang Youyou with mixed feelings.
The little dinosaur was sleeping peacefully beside her, within Zhang Youyou's reach. But Li Donghao wasn't a little dinosaur and wouldn't let her handle him. And she didn't want to become food for the dinosaur, so it was better to stay away.
Zhang Youyou reached out and hugged the little dinosaur, nuzzled it, and quickly fell asleep.
