Chapter 93, Relief
Zhang Youyou, the "focus," slept until the next day due to the effects of alcohol. Li Donghao had already cleaned the house and cooked porridge for her. Fortunately, there was nothing going on at the lab, so he didn't need to go there. However, whether he could coax the girl in the second bedroom was another matter. As for Li Dongshuo, he went to a hotel yesterday, and it was unknown what his plans were for today.
Zhang Youyou felt her mouth was a little dry, but her eyelids were heavy and she didn't want to open them. So she reached for her phone on the bedside table, but she couldn't find it no matter how long she tried. Zhang Youyou frowned. Her phone was usually here, so why wasn't it here today? So she moved to the side, and when she reached out again, her hand was grasped. Zhang Youyou frowned.
"Youyou, are you awake?" Li Donghao asked softly as he approached the bedside.
Zhang Youyou grunted and didn't bother to open her eyes.
"what?"
It seems she's awake.
"Dongshuo said we should have lunch together, but he's going back this afternoon. Are you coming?" This rare display of gentleness was something Lee Dongho should cherish.
"What are you eating? I'm so tired!" Zhang Youyou tried to pull the blanket up to cover her face, but Li Donghao was holding her hand tightly.
"You're not going even though Dongshuo is treating?" Li Donghao whispered in her ear. Zhang Youyou paused for a moment and gave up pulling the blanket.
"go!"
"Okay, then get up quickly, I'll wait for you!"
"Um."
He stroked her face with his large hand, then leaned forward slightly before finally giving up, letting go of her hand and walking out.
Zhang Youyou tossed and turned in bed for a while before finally getting up with a reluctant look on her face. She wouldn't have gotten up so early if Li Dongshuo hadn't been going back that afternoon.
I sat up groggily, my hair a mess, and I had no energy. I sat there for a few minutes before slowly getting out of bed and going out of the room to wash up.
Li Donghao had just heated up some porridge for her when he came out of the kitchen and saw her half-opening her eyes and staggering towards the bathroom. Li Donghao almost burst out laughing. It seemed like it had been a long time since he had seen her like this.
Zhang Youyou came out after washing up and was about to go back to her room to change when Li Donghao called her back.
"The porridge is ready, have some first!"
Zhang Youyou looked at him, puzzled, and asked, "Wasn't Dongshuo treating? Why is it just porridge?"
Li Donghao laughed, "I made the porridge. You drank alcohol yesterday, so eating some porridge is good for your stomach. It will prevent your stomach from feeling uncomfortable when you eat later."
Zhang Youyou was too lazy to argue with him and went over to drink her porridge. However, before that, Li Donghao had prepared a glass of warm water for her to drink to quench her thirst. Zhang Youyou obediently drank a big mouthful and ate most of the porridge. Only then was Li Donghao at ease.
After she changed her clothes, Li Donghao had been waiting in the living room for a long time. When he saw her come out, he took the keys and went with her.
Although it was still a bit awkward, it was much better than before.
When the two arrived at the hotel, Li Dongshuo had already checked out and was sitting in the lobby waiting for them. He then pulled his luggage and got into the car with them.
Zhang Youyou felt awkward around Li Donghao, but much more comfortable with Li Dongshuo. She patted him and asked where they were going to eat. Li Dongshuo mysteriously replied, "We'll find out when we get there." Zhang Youyou rolled her eyes at him, but Li Dongshuo leaned closer, curiously saying, "I heard you choked the teacher? That's impressive!" He even gave her a thumbs-up, which Zhang Youyou slapped away.
She hadn't told him about talking back to the teacher at all, so how did he know? Could it be Lee Dong-ho? His eyes swept towards the driver's seat, but Lee Dong-ho immediately denied it.
"I didn't say that."
Zhang Youyou looked at Li Dongshuo again, and Li Dongshuo said mysteriously, "It's a secret!"
Zhang Youyou kicked him hard without any hesitation, and Li Dongshuo screamed, "Zhang Youyou, are you even a woman?"
Lee Dong-ho, who had been focused on driving, chuckled to himself.
