Chapter 38 Three Rules

Chapter 38 Three Rules

When Cheng Che woke up that morning, Li Zimai was lying on the side of the bed with his head supported, looking at him. When he saw him open his eyes, he immediately came up and kissed him.

Cheng Che was dazed, and it took him a while to remember the rapidly developing relationship between him and Li Zimai. He suddenly felt embarrassed. He had drunk alcohol last night and did some adult things without turning on the lights. He felt ashamed when he woke up.

Li Zimai pinched his face and frowned, "What's your reaction? Don't tell me you regret it again. I won't agree."

Cheng Che grabbed his palm and pried his hand off. He then slowly pulled the quilt over his face and said in a muffled voice, "...I don't regret it."

Li Zimai kissed him through the quilt and said contentedly, "Well, Cheche is so good."

"...Don't call me...Call me Cheche."

Sounds erotic.

"What's the name then? Why can't I just call her Cheche?"

"Anyway, don't call me that."

Cheng Che opened the quilt and sat up from the bed. The tips of his ears were slightly red. He pretended to be calm and said, "Call me Cheng Che, call me by my full name."

Li Zimai looked confused, "Why? You're my boyfriend, why can't I call you Cheche anymore? I used to call you that."

He suddenly realized and said immediately, "I understand. Our relationship is different now. We really can't call each other by the same name as before."

He paused and blurted out: "Should be called baby."

Cheng Che immediately rushed over and covered his mouth, saying angrily, "You...don't be so corny! Why are two men yelling at each other in such a corny way?"

Li Zimai chuckled, put his arm around his waist, and said jokingly, "Our brother Che is so cool. He doesn't even say sweet words when he's in love."

Cheng Che pushed him away, turned his back, and muttered, "Anyway, from now on, you have to call me by my full name. You can't call me Cheche... or anything else."

Li Zimai hugged him from behind, his chin just stuck in the socket of his shoulder, and teased him with a smile, "Brother Che is so boring."

"Let me go... I'm hungry, I want to eat."

"Okay. I'll buy you whatever you want to eat."

Cheng Che asked, "Have you been eating takeout for so long?"

Li Zimai nodded aggrievedly, "Yeah, no one cooks for me, and I can't eat food cooked by others. I only like the food you cook for me."

He even went so far as to suggest, "Cheche, do you want to move in with me? Anyway, you are my boyfriend now, so you have to be responsible for me."

Cheng Che refused sternly, "No."

"Okay, then can you come over on the weekend and improve my meals?"

"...OK."

In the first week of their relationship, Cheng Che set three rules because Li Zimai was always touching her regardless of the occasion or time.

First: You are classmates at school and absolutely cannot do anything beyond the relationship between classmates (including but not limited to holding hands, hugging, kissing and other intimate physical behaviors)

Second: Within five kilometers outside the school, you can hold hands, but you cannot kiss.

Third: No actions below the neck may be performed in the apartment, and Party A (Cheng Che) must not be forced to stay overnight by any means.

Party B, Li Zimai, expressed great dissatisfaction, saying, "What kind of clauses are these? Every one of them targets me."

Cheng Che was slicing fish in the kitchen and asked him with a kitchen knife, "Are you very dissatisfied?"

Li Zimai took a half step back and signed the agreement under the pressure.

After dinner, Li Zimai was ordered to wash the dishes, which took at least half an hour each time. He couldn't stand any stains on the cupboards, and he had to arrange the dishes extremely neatly and symmetrically.

Cheng Che asked, "Have you ever had your OCD checked?"

"Yeah, I've been treated. It was more serious before, but it's okay now."

Li Zimai wiped his hands clean and pinched his serious face, "Don't look down on me for being sick."

Cheng Che frowned and said, "Nonsense, this is not a disease."

Li Zimai smiled and said, "Cheche, you are so nice."

He always said things bluntly that made Cheng Che embarrassed.

"...I'm going back now. I have an early class tomorrow. Don't be late."

Li Zimai suddenly pulled him, leaned over and pushed Cheng Che against the kitchen island. He lowered his head slightly, put his nose close to him, and asked with burning eyes, "Do you want a kiss?"

Cheng Che nodded, and a "hmm" came out of his nose. Li Zimai immediately wanted to violate the regulations of Chapter 3. He was very dissatisfied that Cheng Che wanted to live in the dormitory even though they were in a relationship, and would not allow him to go back to live with him. If Yang Mingxi was not a completely straight man, he would not agree to it no matter what.

"You're not leaving, are you?"

Li Zimai put his mouth close to his and coaxed him, "Just sleep here. We'll go to class together tomorrow."

Cheng Che pushed his face away and refused with principle, "No. I have to go back."

"Don't leave. I won't do anything. Let's just sleep."

He even raised his hands and took a half step back, indicating that he would really do what he said.

Cheng Che hesitated for a moment, then said, "No."

Li Zimai was well aware of his principles, and after a stalemate, he had no choice but to put on his coat and send him off. Cheng Che frowned and said, "I can go back by myself. You don't need to send me off."

"Are you in love with me?"

Li Zimai said dissatisfiedly, "You just want to kiss me and don't want to do anything else. You don't even let me, your boyfriend, send your girlfriend back to school."

"What can I get you? I know the way."

Li Zimai held his hand and said, "Didn't you see how the class monitor and his girlfriend were dating? They held hands when they walked together, and if it was late, they had to send their girlfriend back to the dormitory and kiss her goodbye."

"Don't be cheesy."

Cheng Che looked disgusted and tried to pull his fingers out, but Li Zimai held on tighter and complained, "You don't let me hold your hand at school, and you don't let me hold your hand at home? How can you be like this?"

Cheng Che compromised and walked hand in hand with Li Zimai on the way back to school late at night, and met several students during the trip.

Li Zimai considerately pulled down his sleeves to cover their intertwined fingers, and sighed, "Brother Che, when can I see people?"

"Since when can't you see people?"

"You know what I mean."

Cheng Che remained silent.

Li Zimai stopped, stood in front of him, bent down slightly to look him in the eye, and said with a smile: "Brother Che, you really seem like a scumbag, and you're even having an underground affair."

Cheng Che lowered his eyes and spoke after a long while, saying weakly, "I...I don't want everyone to know so soon."

Li Zimai rubbed Cheng Che's head and said, "Okay, I'll listen to Brother Che. When Brother Che says to make it public, then we'll make it public. A husband should follow his lead."

Cheng Che said "hmm" softly and held Li Zimai's fingers tighter.

The college has a new professional course teacher, who holds a PhD in Architecture from UCL London and a double master's degree in Finance and Architecture. He caused a sensation as soon as he entered the school. The reason is not only because of his high academic qualifications at a young age, but more importantly, he is so elegant, like an ascetic beauty who walked out of a painting.

The teacher's first class was so packed that Cheng Che, who had normally chosen this course, couldn't find a seat at all and had to stand in the corner and listen to the entire class.

[Li]: Is get out of class over? I'll wait for you at the middle gate.

[Baby Cheche]: Waiting for the elevator.

【Li】:I heard there's a new teacher here today? How's that?

[Baby Cheche]: Very beautiful.

【Ci】:??? Isn’t he a man???

[Baby Cheche]: He is a boy, but very handsome.

[Li]: Just wait, I'll come and see how beautiful it is. Don't get off the elevator, I'm coming over.

Li Zimai actually came over, holding Cheng Che's elbow and heading towards the professional classroom, and said anxiously as he walked: "I want to see how beautiful she is, she has completely captivated our brother Che."

Cheng Che said with a smile: "You are so boring."

"You're still laughing. You've never said anyone is pretty in front of me. You've never even praised me!"

Cheng Che pointed at the students queuing at the elevator entrance and said, "That's what they said."

Li Zimai was skeptical, "You weren't so boring before, and you always listened to gossip. No, I have to go and take a look."

"You want to see it, right?" Cheng Che said confidently, "You like beautiful girls, especially those who are aloof and quiet. You have this habit."

"Isn't my fetish you! Now it's you, calling a guy handsome in front of me!"

Cheng Che saw that everyone around him had left, and took his hand soothingly, "Let's go, I was just kidding."

Li Zimai shook his hand back, breathing a little easier, and said in a muffled voice: "Anyway, this is the first time you said someone was beautiful in front of me, you can't change your mind."

"You're so childish."

"Look, now you still despise me."

The two were chatting back and forth when the new teacher from the professional office came out. He was wearing a loose white shirt with short sleeves, light gray casual pants that covered half of his shoes, and a pair of silver-framed glasses on his fair and cold face.

Summer was approaching, and the weather was fluctuating between hot and cold. His appearance seemed to suddenly cool the walkway down, keeping it at a steady low temperature.

Cheng Che pressed the elevator button and said politely, "Hello, Teacher Ji."

"Hello."

Li Zimai also greeted him.

Teacher Ji was a man of few words and didn't engage in small talk, leaving the elevator cabin chilled. After he left, Cheng Che pinched Li Zimai's palm and looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "You said you didn't like pretty girls, but now you're staring at them."

"How could I see straight? I just took a look."

"oh."

"You're being unreasonable! Do I have to close my eyes when greeting the teacher?"

Cheng Che did not deny it.

Li Zimai suddenly said, "But Teacher Ji is really beautiful, you are right."

Cheng Che shook off his hand and let out a heavy "Oh".

"What's wrong? Why are you still unhappy?" Li Zimai teased him, "Didn't you say Teacher Ji is pretty?"

Cheng Che felt that Li Zimai was becoming more and more childish. Could it be that a boy would become like this after falling in love? It was too unreliable.

Li Zimai took advantage of his unpreparedness, suddenly cupped his face and gave him a quick kiss, then ran away, leaving Cheng Che standing there furious.

Jiang Xiaoqing, who was standing by the flower bed, saw this scene clearly.

Cheng Che noticed the startled and complicated look and paused, but he didn't stop explaining. Jiang Xiaoqing's trembling voice came from behind him, "You...you and..."

Cheng Che nodded and admitted: "Well, I hope you can keep it a secret for us for the time being."

Jiang Xiaoqing's eyes were red, and her hands gripping the bag were so tight they turned pale, as if she was trying hard to hold back tears. "Do you really like Li... do you like boys?"

Cheng Che was silent for a few seconds and replied, "Li Zimai is a boy."

Jiang Xiaoqing could tell that he hadn't finished half of his sentence. For such an introverted and lonely person like him to say such words to a third person, he really liked Li Zimai and really rejected her without leaving any room for negotiation.

Jiang Xiaoqing turned her back to Cheng Che, raised her hand to wipe her eyes, and placed the local specialty next to the flower bed. "I brought this for you. If you don't want it, throw it in the trash can."

When Cheng Che mentioned the bag of hot pot ingredients, Li Zimai, who had just returned, said sarcastically, "Hey, what a pity, Brother Che! You were about to get married and have children, but you ended up losing it here."

Cheng Che said coldly: "Can you shut up?"

"You're still being mean to me? Are you really reluctant?! Don't even think about regretting it! I won't agree!"

That night, Li Zimai insisted on adding one more clause to the three chapters of the agreement: Cheng Che must love Li Zimai wholeheartedly and promise to establish a long-term and stable relationship with Li Zimai. Cross it out and it will be a husband-husband relationship, and there will be no regrets.

Cheng Che accidentally dropped hot pot soup onto the "contract", and Li Zimai immediately exploded, "Do you want to break the contract?!"

"Take it away and eat it first."

Before returning to the apartment, they went to the supermarket and bought a lot of fresh ingredients for the hot pot base. Cheng Che was still busy blanching the vegetables, but Li Zimai insisted that he sign.

"No matter what, you sign first."

Li Zimai hugged Cheng Che from behind, wrapped his big hands around the back of his hand, forcing him to hold the pen, and one arm was tightly around Cheng Che's waist to prevent him from moving.

Through a thin layer of cloth, Cheng Che felt the hot and firm chest. His face suddenly flushed and his body leaned forward unconsciously. "Let me go first. I have oil on my hands."

Li Zimai glanced at the boiling oil pan on the coffee table, frowned, and simply picked up Cheng Che in this position.

The sudden weightlessness made Cheng Che subconsciously grab the other person's arm. Just as he was about to scold him, Li Zimai gently put him down on the sofa and took a wet towel to wipe his hands.

He knelt on one knee beside the sofa and carefully wiped Cheng Che's hand clean one finger at a time. He even obsessively lifted up half of Cheng Che's palm and compared them. "Okay, it's clean. Sign now."

Cheng Che pouted and said, "You are so boring."

Li Zimai stared at him with an extremely serious look. "You've gone back on your word more than once, so what's wrong with me being more strict? Besides, you were the one who came up with these three rules. You proposed three and I only proposed one, and you still feel like you're at a disadvantage?"

Cheng Che was speechless. He picked up the pen, crossed out "husband-husband relationship", then ticked "couple relationship", and then signed the two words "Cheng Che".

"Okay, the hot pot is about to clumping up."

Li Zimai was reluctantly satisfied. He rubbed Cheng Che's head and stood up. "You eat first. I'll find something to frame it."

Cheng Che: “…”
