Jiang Qiuxu's English has always been good, so she made many mistakes in the reading questions. She studied them carefully for a few times and solved the ones she got wrong. Next was the five-choice question from seven. Jiang Qiuxu only got one wrong, but she couldn't figure out the answer to this one.
No matter how she looked at it, she felt that D was more suitable than F. Why was the answer F?
Jiang Qiuxu subconsciously turned to look beside her, but Du Xiwei, known as the "natural English learner," had gone to training, so she had to find someone else. Jiang Qiuxu looked at Xie Yusheng, who was working on a test paper in front of her, thought for a moment, and finally took out a new notebook.
"Why did you choose F instead of D in question 17 of English Weekly, issue 17? Please give me an answer."
After finishing the questions, Jiang Qiuxu handed the notebook to Xie Yusheng while calling his name in a low voice. After Xie Yusheng took the notebook, Jiang Qiuxu immediately ran to study other questions and did not notice the momentary confusion of Xie Yusheng when he turned his head.
The notebook was returned in less than two minutes, making Jiang Qiuxu wonder if he was too stupid. He asked a simple question and was shocked when he opened it.
On the notebook was Xie Yusheng's unchanging abstract font: "I don't understand either... I also chose D."
Jiang Qiuxu: No, buddy? Aren't you the all-knowing academic god (?)?
And maybe it was because he'd read too many novels, but Jiang Qiuxu actually thought Xie Yusheng's tone in replying to the note was kind of cute?!
As soon as this thought came to his mind, Jiang Qiuxu cursed himself in his mind for being crazy and thinking of such an outrageous thing. He quickly turned his attention back to the English weekly.
Five minutes later, Jiang Qiuxu ran to the next question with anxiety about not being able to solve it, and decided to send it to Du Xiwei when he returned to the dormitory that night and let her answer it.

The next day was the college entrance exam physical exam, and they had to leave the school and walk to the hospital. In the classroom, Jiang Qiuxu was packing her things while complaining about the school's insane plan for a physical exam the day before the joint exam. Seeing the English weekly newspaper, she remembered Du Xiwei's mysterious explanation from last night. She pondered for a few seconds, then tucked the newspaper into her bag.
On the way, I found Xie Yusheng to discuss whether the solution to the problem using conjunctions is correct.
On the way to the hospital, Jiang Qiuxu walked not far from Xie Yusheng. After listening to his conversation with Wu Lin for nearly ten minutes, he finally couldn't help it and stepped forward to interrupt Wu Lin's chat about the Luochuan dungeon. He walked side by side with Xie Yusheng and took out the weekly report from his bag. "Well, I asked Du Xiwei about yesterday's question when I got home. She said that F matches the conjunction in the previous text. What do you think?"
Watching Xie Yusheng take the test paper, Jiang Qiuxu nervously grabbed the strap of his shoulder bag.
"It's quite reasonable, but it still doesn't explain why you didn't choose D." Xie Yusheng returned the test paper to Jiang Qiuxu.
"Yeah, I think so too." Jiang Qiuxu put away the test paper.
Wu Lin, who was standing by, couldn't stand it any longer and interrupted, "You two academic masters, you're still talking about studying after leaving school. Leave a scumbag like me alone."
After taking a look at Wu Lin who looked miserable, Jiang Qiuxu shook his head, stopped talking, slowed down his pace and followed behind them.
When returning from the hospital, Jiang Qiuxu walked in front. While walking, she was thinking about when Du Xiwei would come back and did not notice that there was another person beside her.
"Boss, let's go to Youming Snack Shop to buy some things later. The teacher won't take care of this." Wu Lin's voice came from beside him, but Jiang Qiuxu turned around and saw Xie Yusheng.
Having nothing to do, Jiang Qiuxu agreed.
