Chapter 50

Chapter 50

The final graduation party was still just a small gathering between Jiang Qiuxu and Du Xiwei. Du Xiwei ate while replying to the class monitor's message, and occasionally shared the conversation content with Jiang Qiuxu.

Monitor: What did you say to PCL? I saw her run away (PS: After knowing that you and Qiu Xu were not coming, XYS also left)

Du Xiwei: I just scolded her. I didn’t want to eat in front of her face, so I dragged Qiu Xu away. I didn’t expect she had the guts to do those things but didn’t have the guts to continue eating →_→

Class monitor: I was worried she wouldn't be able to chat with the people in our class. () It's good that she left. After all, not many people really want to sit down with her for dinner, and the ones she hung out with aren't available to come either. [Good.jpg]

Class monitor: Oh, by the way, I almost forgot. When I went back home today, I happened to see her talking to the head teacher. Can you guess what they were talking about?

Du Xiwei thought about it for a moment. She felt that even if Peng Chunli was scolded, she wouldn't refuse to go to the graduation party where she could "show herself off." Unless the words she scolded her about were something that Peng Chunli really cared about...

Du Xiwei: She wants to repeat the year?

Du Xiwei replied to the message out of guesswork, but she didn't expect the squad leader to reply immediately.

Monitor:!!! How did you guess so accurately???

Du Xiwei: Maybe it was because I scolded her about this point today that she ran away ovo

Monitor: Well done. [/Like]

The day passed just like that.

By August 5, 2024, most of the college entrance exam graduates had received their acceptance letters. Luckily, Jiang Qiuxu had received an acceptance letter from the school she wanted to attend. Thanks to Du Xiwei's careful choice, their schools were both located in the same city. This was also the day to collect her files, and since Du Xiwei was busy, Jiang Qiuxu had no choice but to go to school on her own.

Jiang Qiuxu had never expected to be the first person in the class to get her file. She wrote down her school and major on the untouched registration form and took her file. As she left the office, Jiang Qiuxu knew with absolute clarity that her high school career was over. No more piles of homework and endless exams weighing her down, and similarly, it would be hard to see her again...

Suddenly, Jiang Qiuxu saw Xie Yusheng. In an instant, she remembered that the last time they met, she hadn't had time to ask why Xie Yusheng had disappeared the entire summer, nor had she had time to ask what score Xie Yusheng had on the test, let alone which university Xie Yusheng went to. Jiang Qiuxu wanted to call out to Xie Yusheng, but the next second, Xie Yusheng was pulled away by the homeroom teacher, and his figure completely disappeared from the corridor.

In the evening, Jiang Qiuxu sat at the desk. In front of her were the notebooks she used to chat with Du Xiwei, Xie Yusheng, and Wu Lin in her senior year of high school, as well as some miscellaneous notes. She looked at these familiar words, and the corresponding scenes emerged in her mind.

It seems that after leaving high school, the people who used to study, chat and play games with me have completely lost their fate and can only meet them in memories.

Jiang Qiuxu had never been so aware of her unwillingness to part with Xie Yusheng. She truly had a fondness for him, fueled by countless coincidences. She couldn't let go, but she had no other choice. She couldn't see or contact Xie Yusheng, so she could only write novels, just as she had done before when she was heartbroken.

She will write down her regrets so that the memories will never fade.
