Faint music sang in the tutoring room as the two began to dance with increasing ease. Jiang Qiuxu followed Xie Yusheng's steps, her mind gradually clearing. Jiang Qiuxu didn't dare meet Xie Yusheng's gaze, her eyes unconsciously dodging. Suddenly, her gaze passed over Xie Yusheng's head, and the mood indicator she hadn't noticed for a long time had disappeared. Realizing that Xie Yusheng's mood had automatically disappeared after exceeding 120 without her knowing, she subconsciously wanted to check the historical fluctuations in the value. Before she could do so, she nearly fell because of her distraction.

The only downside was that it might be a bit chilly inside the fully air-conditioned venue.

"What's wrong?" Du Xiwei asked puzzledly from the side.
"I haven't worn high heels for a long time. I need to get used to it." Jiang Qiuxu replied with a helpless smile.
Jiang Qiuxu walked into the venue, each step filled with awkwardness, but luckily things got smoother. The school's video location was on the stage further inside the venue, and before entering, they had to pass through the main hall where students were already starting the party.
Peng Chunli arrived at the venue early, wearing a famously gorgeous evening gown, but she'd rented it for 1,800 yuan for just one night. Her family was on a modest income, and the school's dress was quite nice. Her parents had originally wanted to just follow the school's standard selection, but Peng Chunli had no choice but to bite the bullet and rent a better one. However, a dress, no matter how expensive, is still a rental, and no matter how good a rental dress is, it can't compare to one custom-made by a designer.
