Chapter 309 Mom, you look so beautiful

"dad"

As soon as Lu Yang got off work, he rushed home. His daughter was already pacing back and forth at the door like a little adult. When she saw him come back, she quickly waved.

"Daddy, hurry, hurry!"

It just so happened that the orderly in charge of him had to go to the city today, so he asked him to take his family along.

An'an thought she was going to ride a bike with her dad, so she urged him to hurry back to the house to get the bicycle.

Lu Yang carried her directly to the entrance of the family compound.

"Dad's Bicycle"

An'an hurriedly reminded him, and Lu Yang chuckled, "Your Uncle Wang will take us there."

"Great, let's call Auntie."

Lu Ronghui was already waiting for them at the door. "Brother..."

Soon the orderly drove out, and Lu Yang opened the car door to thank him first, "Thank you, Xiao Wang, otherwise I would have had to ride my bike to take them there in this cold weather."

After saying that, he handed Xiao Wang a pack of cigarettes. Ever since he saw Lu Ronghui, Xiao Wang had been a little nervous.

"Commander, you're too kind. I was just on my way to the city on business anyway."

Lu Yang didn't stand on ceremony and threw the cigarette at him. Then he picked up his noisy daughter and carried her into the car. As soon as An'an got in, she thanked her uncle.

"Thank you, Uncle Wang."

How could a young, unmarried man resist such a sweet, soft apology from a young girl? Xiao Wang smiled sheepishly, a little embarrassed, and said, "You're welcome."

He wants to have a daughter someday.

An'an had been to the department store several times before, but the number of people inside today was still beyond her expectations. She was so frightened that she clung tightly to Lu Yang's leg, and Lu Yang picked her up.

"So many people, where is Mom?"

Lu Yang held her and looked around. Neither of them had expected that these people were heading towards the textile factory's stalls.

The three people stood in the crowd, all looking somewhat lost.

Lu Ronghui glanced in everyone's direction and reached out to tug at her brother's sleeve.

"Let's go to the second floor first."

There were fabric vendors on the second floor; it was quite a struggle to squeeze up.

An'an was perched on his father's shoulder, looking at the crowd, when he suddenly spotted the women from the textile factory.

They were wearing the clothes she had looked at in the office for a long, long time. An'an had a deep memory of those clothes and dreamed that she grew up and wore them while looking in the mirror.

"Dad's there!"

Lu Yang led the two of them through the crowd with difficulty. It turned out that all these people were heading to the textile factory stalls. They hadn't expected their clothes to be so popular.

However, he also found it somewhat frightening, as there were far too many people, including women of all ages. If it weren't for Song Qing being inside, he would have immediately turned back home upon seeing so many people.

But they weren't afraid at all; on the contrary, they even seemed excited.

An'an sat on his father's arm, craning his neck to look over there with excitement, and kept urging Lu Yang to hurry up.

"Hey comrade, that's a place selling women's clothing over there. Why are you squeezing in there to see what's going on?"

"Exactly, there wasn't enough room to stand, and people still squeezed in. Most of the people here are women."

The two middle-aged women covered their mouths and complained a few words. Lu Yang turned his head to look at them. His face was already cold enough, and wearing that outfit made him even more dignified. The two women silently shut up. The others following behind Lu Yang hoped that he could squeeze in quickly so that they could follow behind.

"Mother!"

Song Qing was talking to Fang Hui. Several of Fang Hui's friends were standing next to her. The clothes hanging there were indeed not suitable for them. Like Fang Hui, they also wanted to buy some clothes.

Suddenly, she heard her daughter's voice and quickly turned around. She saw her daughter sitting on her father's lap, looking excited.

Song Qing smiled and reached out to hug her, but An'an buried her face in her shoulder and didn't make a sound.

"What's wrong?"

Song Qing asked her softly with some doubt. An An rubbed against her a couple more times, and finally raised her face, which was a little red.

"Mom, you look so beautiful."

Her voice was so soft that Song Qing couldn't hear her at first. Then An'an repeated it, and after she finished speaking, she stretched out her chubby little hands, which were like lotus root knots, to cover her face.

She then remembered that she was wearing a sales clerk's uniform. Lu Yang, standing to the side, also thought that the outfit suited Song Qing exceptionally well today.

He coughed lightly, planning to save up some of his savings over the next few months to buy her an apartment.

The smile on his face vanished the moment he saw Wei Hui standing to the side. Wei Hui noticed Lu Yang's gaze and reached out to press his nose. He had a vague feeling last time that Lu Ronghui's older brother didn't seem to like him very much.

An'an's face remained red for a while. She leaned on Song Qing's shoulder and looked at her mother. After a while, she smiled.

Song Qing was unusually embarrassed by her daughter's antics, so she reached out and patted her bottom.

“You and your aunt are here, but Mom has to work.”

An'an then reached out to Lu Ronghui, who pulled her to her side. An'an suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

"Uncle Wei, what are you doing here?"
