When Xiaoting saw her father coming, she remembered what her mother had said and suddenly stretched out her hand to look at He Zhangcheng. He Zhangcheng was stunned for a while, and Ye Man had to remind her from the side, "Xiaoting doesn't want to go back."

The supply and marketing cooperative sells mung bean popsicles for only one cent each. Xiaoting is currently eating the most expensive milk ice cream, which costs eight cents a stick. There are two flavors available. Xiaoting used to eat the other flavor, but she doesn't really like this one.
Wasting food is bad, Ye Man had realized that long ago. It was so hot that the ice cream was almost melting, and she hadn't eaten much of it. If it were before, she would have finished it long ago.
Xiaoting had one hand on her father's shoulder and the other holding an ice cream. Suddenly, she reached out and handed the ice cream to him, saying, "Daddy, have some."
He Zhangcheng froze, almost bursting into tears of emotion. He wanted to shake his head and say he wouldn't eat, but Xiaoting had already reached out again, "Dad, you eat."
Ye Man silently looked away. Which parent hasn't experienced helping their child eat food they don't like? It's a good opportunity for him to experience it too.
He Zhangcheng finished the remaining ice cream in two bites. The coolness of the ice cream in his mouth and the burning emotion in his chest made him hold Xiaoting even tighter.
They soon arrived at the dormitory building. Without stopping, He Zhangcheng carried Xiaoting upstairs. Xiaoting sat on his arm, finding everything novel and exciting, her eyes crinkling with delight.
Liu He saw this heartwarming scene of father and daughter from the living room. "You're not so big that you can't walk and you still need to be carried. Don't you know your dad just got off work?"
Xiaoting was about to get down when she suddenly reached out and hugged her father's neck, starting to whine to him, "Daddy, I don't want to wash my hands."
How can you not wash your hands?
"Dad will help you wash."
He Zhangcheng carried her to the bathroom and helped her wash her hands, without ever putting his feet down the entire time.
Liu He: "...Your hands and feet are just for show. You're such a grown-up, can't you even do this little bit of work?"
She was so angry that her heart ached. She found Xiaoting an eyesore. At the dinner table, her father carried her over and put her on a chair. Her mother handed her a towel to wipe her hands and even raised her eyebrows triumphantly at Liu He. The angrier her grandmother was, the happier she was.
Liu He slammed her hand on the table. This child had indeed been corrupted by her mother.
"Mom, what are you doing? It's almost dinner time, don't scare the child."
He Zhangcheng was about to serve soup to his daughter when he noticed his mother was angry again. He frowned and looked at her. Liu He clutched her chest and pointed at Xiaoting, saying, "She's provoking me."
Xiaoting didn't say anything, but just lowered her eyes and reached out to touch the tablecloth.
"Xiaoting is just a child, why is she provoking you? Mom, can't you just eat your food in peace?"
