Why did you notice Jiang Bai?
It was like a moment. It was the first time she saw such a look, and such a pair of eyes, which were different from those of everyone else. Her parents were kind and loving, her brother was very good to her, but he always treated her as a child; Xie Rong and the others were all friends.
But Jiang Bai seemed to have some special attraction. When Lan Shuqing saw those eyes, she couldn't look away.

Lan Shuqing got up from the bed, opened the curtains, looked at the unobstructed scenery outside the window, stretched, woke up, then opened the door of the master bedroom, but did not see Jiang Bai.
Lan Shuqing scratched her hair as she walked towards the study. When she reached the kitchen, she took a look and saw that no one was there. When she turned around, the bathroom door was also open, which meant that he was in the study.
In order to scare Jiang Bai, Lan Shuqing slowed down his pace and gently opened the door of the study. He saw Jiang Bai sitting in front of the computer desk with his laptop turned on, not knowing what he was doing.
Lan Shu tiptoed to behind Jiang Bai and leaned over to look at the computer.
Jiang Bai was concentrating on his studies. She glanced over, as if realizing something. Whoa! Someone was there! Jiang Bai almost jumped up from his chair, making a loud noise.
“Huh!”

The moment Jiang Bai saw clearly that it was Lan Shuqing, he shook subconsciously, then slammed the laptop shut.
Lan Shuqing saw that she was really scared by him and laughed out loud, "Hahaha..."
Jiang Bai's heart was beating incredibly fast. She pushed her chair aside and stood up, feeling a little annoyed and a little bewildered. "Lan Shuqing, what are you doing?! You walked over here without making a sound!"

Lan Shuqing smiled at her, and Jiang Bai said unhappily, "Are you awake? Are you still hungry?"
"Hungry!"
Jiang Bai raised his hand, grabbed Lan Shuqing's shoulder, and pushed her out. "Then let's go out for dinner."
Lan Shu nodded slightly, "Okay."
The two walked out of the study one after the other. Jiang Bai followed Lan Shuqing and changed direction to walk towards the bathroom. She pulled her hairband as she walked. She had just been frightened by Lan Shuqing and her hair accidentally got caught on the chair. She felt that her scalp was a little tight and she needed to comb her hair again.
As they walked, seeing no one around, Lan Shu turned around the corner and called out, "Jiang Bai."
Jiang Bai just turned on the bathroom light and turned around to meet Lan Shu's contemptuous gaze.
From the time they met until now, Lan Shuqing had never seen Jiang Bai with her hair loose. This was the first time she saw her. She subconsciously slowed her breathing. The warm white light shone on Jiang Bai's face. She had a delicate appearance, but her proportions were particularly good. Her nose was slightly straight, her cheeks were not very fleshy, and her jaw was distinct. Although her appearance was not very stunning, she looked more and more beautiful the more she looked at her.
Her black hair fell on both sides of her forehead, gently, as if something was about to fly out.
At that moment, Lan Shuqing felt that Jiang Bai was more handsome than himself, and then this thought slowly lingered in his mind and could not be shaken off.

"Oh, I'll comb my hair first." Jiang Bai turned around and continued to comb her hair, but there was a faint floral scent in the bathroom. Jiang Bai tied her hair and her eyes fell on the cosmetic bag that was not put away, and she was slightly stunned.
Lan Shuqing also walked to the sofa and sat down. She covered her heart with her hands, where something was beating uncontrollably.
The room was exceptionally quiet. When Jiang Bai came out after combing her hair, she saw Lan Shuqing sitting on the sofa in a daze.
"Lan Shuqing?" Jiang Bai called out as he walked over to her. Lan Shuqing looked up in a daze. Jiang Bai walked over and waved his hand in front of her eyes. "What are you thinking about?"
"Ah?" Lan Shuqing suddenly came back to her senses. She looked into Jiang Bai's eyes and smiled. "What are you thinking about eating?"
Jiang Bai straightened up and asked, "Have you thought of that?"
Lan Shu shook his head slightly, "No, you recommend one."
Jiang Bai smiled, "Then change clothes and let's go?"
Lan Shu nodded slightly, "Okay." She stood up and took Jiang Bai's arm, "Where's my suitcase?"
"In the study."
Lan Shuqing said "Oh" and went to the study to change clothes. In the study, Lan Shuqing sat on the edge of the bed thoughtfully. She touched her chest and sighed, feeling weird.
Thinking that Jiang Bai was still waiting for her, Lan Shuqing changed into a skirt, combed her hair, packed her suitcase, took her pajamas and went out.
Jiang Bai was waiting at the door. When she saw Lan Shuqing come out, she stood up straight. Lan Shuqing looked at Jiang Bai, handed her the pajamas, and then blinked. "Jiang Bai, I want to stay at your house today. Can you help me hang it up?"
Jiang Bai's eyes widened slightly, "Don't you need to go home?"
Lan Shu nodded slightly, "I've already said hello to my parents."
Jiang Bai stared at her blankly, silent for at least three seconds. Lan Shuqing didn't say anything either, just staring at her, as if waiting for her consent. Jiang Bai pursed his lips and said, "Okay."
At worst, she can sleep in the study at night.
After hanging up the pajamas in the master bedroom, Jiang Bai took his cell phone, Lan Shuqing put on his small white bag, and the two of them went out.
It was almost one o'clock in the morning and there were not many people in the community. It was quite quiet. The greenery and public facilities in this community were all good. There was a rockery in the atrium and a swimming pool further in. The property management was also good. It was not dirty or messy, and the community was kept very clean.
Lan Shu gently took Jiang Bai's arm and tilted his head to look at her. Jiang Bai seemed to have noticed something and looked back, a little puzzled. Lan Shu looked at her gently without saying anything.
"What do you want to eat?" Jiang Bai asked.
Lan Shu thought for a moment and asked, "What's delicious here?"
Jiang Bai recalled, "There's a rabbit that's good, but a little spicy."
Humph, she's indeed a woman who loves spicy food. Lan Shu leaned against Jiang Bai and said, "Change it."
Jiang Bai hummed, then took out his phone. "Then let's see what the app recommends..."
"How about some Chinese food?" Before Jiang Bai even started browsing the app, he suddenly remembered, "There's a good Chinese restaurant."
Lan Shu glanced at her lightly and said, "Okay."
The Chinese restaurant was quite close, just two blocks away from the community. When crossing the traffic light, a bicycle came from the opposite direction. Jiang Bai grabbed Lan Shuqing's arm and pulled her towards him.
Some people are always careful and calm, but also a little indifferent.
Lan Shuqing went to Phoenix Mountain for three days and didn't send many messages to Jiang Bai. Jiang Bai would not take the initiative to send her messages either. The familiarity of the previous month and the coldness now always made Lan Shuqing feel a little disconnected.

Jiang Bai choked. She put her left hand in her pocket, her right hand gently held by Lan Shu's. She asked, "How's Phoenix Mountain? Is it fun?"

Lan Shuqing wasn't a stingy person, so he replied, "It's quite fun. You can enjoy the scenery and ski. I watched the stars for two nights, and they were beautiful."
"Did you watch the sunrise?" Jiang Bai asked again, "I saw many people say that the sunrise was particularly beautiful."
"I saw it the next day. It was quite beautiful."
"That's okay."
As they were talking, the Chinese restaurant was just opposite. Jiang Bai took Lan Shuqing's wrist and walked with her. The Chinese restaurant was not big but very clean. Jiang Bai took Lan Shuqing in and found a cleaner place to sit down. The service was very good.
It was a little after one in the morning and the restaurant was empty. The waitress came over to take our order. The waitresses in this restaurant were all aunts and spoke in dialect. Jiang Bai took over the conversation, began to look at the menu, and asked Lan Shuqing, "What do you want to eat?"
Lan Shu shook his head slightly, "Just watch out."
Jiang Bai nodded, "Okay." Then he ordered three dishes and a soup. The two of them couldn't eat much, but Jiang Bai still wanted her to try the restaurant's signature dish, so he ordered one more.
Lan Shu propped up his chin and looked at Jiang Bai, "Did you work overtime very late the past two days?"
Jiang Bai thought for a moment and said, "Not bad. I'll work until 11 on the 30th and stay in the company all day on the 1st."
Lan Shu hummed softly, "Remember to send me a message next time."
Jiang Bai laughed, "I understand."
The child was still thinking about this matter. Jiang Bai agreed, but she didn't say much.
As if he could see through her thoughts, Lan Shu propped up his chin and said, "Even if you have nothing to say, you should come to me. As for what to say, you can decide for yourself, but you should come to me anyway. I said, friends are meant to keep in touch."
Jiang Bai was about to say something when the waitress came and brought the dish, which was the restaurant's signature cold dish, so Jiang Bai had to shut up.
Lan Shuqing saw Cai coming, so she took out a colorful rubber band from her bag and tied her hair up.
Jiang Bai stared at the way she tied her hair, at the way her white fingers intertwined with her black hair, at her young and beautiful face, and at her pushing the hair on her forehead behind her ears.
It looks really good.
Lan Shu raised his head slightly, just in time to catch the fleeting infatuation in Jiang Bai's eyes, and then he became serious again, just like the first time they met.
Jiang Bai tilted his head slightly, took a pair of disposable chopsticks and handed them to Lan Shuqing, "Let's eat first."
