The ground shook more and more violently, as if the whole world was trembling.
Lin Yi felt the ground beneath his feet undulate like waves, cracks spreading rapidly, and a suffocating sense of oppression permeated the air.
Just as they were preparing to face the unknown challenges, a gigantic, malevolent beast emerged from the ground.
It is enormous, standing tens of meters tall, with scales shimmering with a dark green light, and eyes like blood-red lanterns, exuding a ferocious aura.
"Holy crap, what the hell is this?" Long Wu's voice was filled with astonishment, but he quickly composed himself and gripped the katana tightly.
The ferocious beast opened its blood-red maw and let out a deafening roar, its voice like a deep bass thunder, causing everything around it to tremble.
It charged towards Lin Yi and the others, the force of its massive body nearly knocking them over.
Lin Yi swiftly used his teleportation ability to nimbly dodge the beast's attack, secretly delighted, for this was the combat opportunity he had been waiting for.
He carefully observed the beast's behavior patterns and discovered that it would briefly reveal a weakness when attacking.
"Long Wu, watch out for its tail!" Lin Yi's voice was deep and firm, his eyes fixed on the beast's movements.
Long Wu understood immediately, transforming into a golden light and shadow, and becoming a true dragon.
His body instantly expanded, and the dragon claws collided with the beast's giant claws, producing a deafening sound.
Stones on the ground were shaken and scattered everywhere, and the air was filled with the smell of dirt and blood.
"Chu Yao, analyze the weaknesses of this thing!" Lin Yi quickly ordered, his eyes flashing with determination.
Chu Yao's figure flickered in the void, and her voice resounded in Lin Yi's mind: "The ferocious beast's weakness is in its neck, where there are three fragile bone spikes. Attacking those bone spikes can cause fatal damage to it."
Lin Yi nodded, feeling more confident.
He used teleportation again, instantly appearing beside the ferocious beast, the Time Blade in his hand gleaming with dazzling light.
He wielded his long blade like a precise scalpel, striking the beast's neck bone spikes with unerring accuracy.
With a loud "boom," the ferocious beast let out a shrill scream. Its huge body swayed a few times, but it still did not fall.
A strong fighting spirit surged within Lin Yi; he knew this was merely a successful test.
"Long Wu, keep attacking!" he shouted, his eyes gleaming with determination.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Long Wu unleashed a torrent of scorching dragon breath, engulfing the ferocious beast like a tidal wave. The intense heat of the flames nearly scorched the beast's skin.
The ferocious beast struggled in the sea of fire, letting out painful roars, but still refused to retreat.
"This thing is pretty tough, let's try again!" Lin Yi's voice was filled with excitement. He used the teleportation technique again, appearing on the other side of the beast. He swung the Space-Time Blade in his hand once more, slashing at the same weak point.
This time, he felt significant resistance, and the beast's painful cries became even more piercing.
"Lin Yi, watch out!" The mysterious figure's voice suddenly came, and his sharp attack was like a shadow, slicing through the ferocious beast's body and leaving deep wounds.
His weapon was like a blade, and every attack was precise, quickly leaving multiple wounds on the beast's body.
Lin Yi's heart stirred; he had finally found an opportunity.
He took a deep breath, and the Space-Time Blade in his hand gathered all the power of space-time, its light shining as brightly as the sun.
He swung his sword suddenly, and the Space-Time Slash struck the beast's neck bone spikes like a bolt of lightning.
"Whoosh!" The power of spacetime erupted in an instant, the bone spurs on the beast's neck were instantly severed, and its huge body finally gave way and crashed to the ground.
The ground trembled, dust flew up, and the air was filled with the scent of death.
Long Wu relaxed his body, took a deep breath, and laughed, "This thing is really hard to handle, but it's also quite fun!"
Lin Yi smiled slightly, but his gaze fell on the spot where the ferocious beast had fallen.
He stepped forward and carefully examined the beast's corpse.
Just then, Chu Yao's voice rang out again: "Lin Yi, the beast's lair is underground behind it. Let's go take a look."
Lin Yi nodded, turned to look at the mysterious figure, a hint of fighting spirit in his eyes: "Let's go, let's see what's inside."
The mysterious figure nodded slightly, gazing intently ahead, as if sensing some ominous sign.
The four of them walked together toward the spot where the ferocious beast had fallen. The cracks in the ground gradually closed, and an unknown tension filled the air.
Just then, a low murmur came from deep within the beast's lair, as if calling upon some ancient evil god.
"Let's set off, and take it one step at a time." Lin Yi's voice was deep and firm as he took the lead, guiding everyone on an unknown adventure.
Dust filled the air, and a nauseating, fishy stench permeated the atmosphere.
Lin Yi covered his nose, enduring the discomfort, and stepped into the beast's lair.
This place is so eerie, it's like a scene from a horror movie. The lighting is dim, the cave walls are damp, and you can hear the echo of water droplets falling from time to time.
"This place is so eerie, could there be a boss here?" Long Wu followed behind, gripping his katana tightly, looking as if he were facing a formidable enemy.
Deep within the lair, an ancient book lay quietly on a stone platform, emitting a faint glow, like a beacon in the darkness, drawing everyone's attention.
Chu Yao stepped forward, her slender fingers gently stroking the cover of the ancient book, a warm current instantly spreading throughout her body.
"The laws of spacetime? Interesting." She looked up at Lin Yi. "This thing is a treasure to you."
Lin Yi took the ancient book, opened it, and was horrified by the dense text.
"What is this? Tadpole script?" He scratched his head, looking completely bewildered.
"Don't rush, let me see." Chu Yao leaned closer, carefully deciphering the characters on the ancient book. "Time travel, time freeze, time reversal... Wow, this is practically a complete encyclopedia of time magic!"
"Does that mean I'm going to be invincible?" Lin Yi rubbed his hands excitedly, feeling like he was about to reach the pinnacle of life.
Suddenly, a loud "boom" broke everyone's excitement.
Gravel began to fall from the top of the nest, and the ground began to shake violently, as if some enormous creature was about to burst out of the ground.
"Holy crap, no way, there's something even more powerful?" Long Wu's eyes widened, and he gripped his katana even tighter.
The mysterious figure frowned, staring intently at the top of the nest, and said in a deep voice, "Something's not right. We need to get out of here immediately."
“It’s too late…” Lin Yi’s voice was low and hoarse as he looked at the ancient book. “I must take this with me.”
"Boom!" A huge rock fell from the top and crashed down at Lin Yi's feet, cracking the ground open with a huge fissure.
"Let's go!" Lin Yi grabbed the ancient book, pulled Chu Yao's hand, and ran out of the nest.
"Wait for me!" Long Wu followed closely behind and rushed out as well.
The mysterious figure remained where he was, his gaze fixed on the top of the nest, a strange smile playing on his lips.
"The game has only just begun..."
