Chapter 50: Following the Clues, the Mystery of Her Origins

"Lin Yi!" Long Wu's roar echoed through the passage, causing gravel to fall in a rustling sound.

Amidst the billowing dust, he only caught a glimpse of Lin Yi being swallowed by the falling rocks, his hand reaching out towards the blue metal box, as if grasping at some hope, or perhaps struggling in despair.

Damn it!

Is this kid really going to kill himself?

"Calm down, Long Wu!" Chu Yao's voice was surprisingly calm, like an electric current, instantly stabilizing Long Wu's frantic emotions.

“The collapse of the locked room follows a pattern, Lin Yi… should be able to find an escape route.” Although she said this, her flashing electronic eyes still betrayed a hint of worry.

Before the words were finished, a figure rushed out from the pile of rubble, covered in dust, but with a sinister smile on his face.

Who else could it be but Lin Yi?

"I'm sorry to have worried everyone." He dusted himself off, holding in his hand the metal box that emitted a faint blue light.

"Looks like I'm pretty lucky."

"Damn! Are you a cockroach? Such tenacious vitality!" Long Wu punched Lin Yi in the chest, his tone full of relief at surviving a disaster.

"What kind of treasure is in this box that would make you risk your life?"

Lin Yi smiled mysteriously and put the box into his spatial ring.

"It's a secret." He wouldn't tell Long Wu that the contents of this box might be crucial information related to the entire "Ragnarok" plan.

Even after escaping the locked room, the outside world remained gloomy, with a suffocating sense of oppression permeating the air.

Based on the clues in the secret room, Lin Yi and the others tracked down to the place where Su Qing might appear—an ancient temple hidden deep in the mountains and forests.

Throughout the journey, Lin Yi and his companions walked on thin ice.

The shadows of Xuanmingzi and Night Owl followed them closely, as if they might pounce out of the darkness at any moment to deliver a fatal blow.

"Be careful, there are traps everywhere here," Lin Yi whispered a warning. His keen senses told him that danger was approaching.

The temple, ancient and mysterious, exudes an awe-inspiring aura.

Strange runes were carved on the mottled stone pillars, and a faint sandalwood scent filled the air, which seemed out of place in this desolate wilderness.

"This place... feels a bit creepy." Long Wu rubbed his arms, goosebumps rising on his skin.

Despite being severely injured, Whitebeard's eyes remained resolute as he gripped his weapon tightly and vigilantly surveyed his surroundings.

Lin Yi nodded, signaling everyone to be on high alert.

Suddenly, a figure drifted down from the depths of the temple, as light as the wind, like a fairy.

Who else could it be but Su Qing?

"Who...who are you?" Su Qing's voice was cold and wary.

She eyed Lin Yi and the others warily.

"We're here to help you." Lin Yi stepped forward, his tone sincere and firm.

"I know your background, and I know the mission you bear."

Su Qing was stunned. She hadn't expected that the man in front of her knew her secret.

Her tense body gradually relaxed, and a look of confusion and helplessness appeared in her eyes.

With Lin Yi's patient persuasion, Su Qing finally lowered her guard and began to tell her about her background.

It turns out that she is a descendant of an ancient family from another dimension, and her bloodline contains the power to seal off interdimensional passages.

This power is the key to stopping the "Ragnarok" plan.

"Ragnarok... could it really be true?" Su Qing's voice trembled.

"Yes, and it's even more terrifying than we imagine." Lin Yi's tone was heavy. He knew that once the "Ragnarok" plan was launched, it would bring a devastating disaster to the world.

In order to gain a deeper understanding of Su Qing's bloodline information, Chu Yao took the initiative to propose a comprehensive analysis of Su Qing's physical data.

"I need to connect to your nervous system, which may cause some... discomfort. Can you accept that?" Chu Yao's voice was gentle and considerate.

Su Qing nodded without hesitation, "I'm willing to do anything to stop 'Ragnarok'."

Chu Yao connected to Su Qing's nervous system and began data analysis.

As her analysis deepened, she discovered some crucial information that could very well be the key to stopping the "Ragnarok" plan.

"Found it!" Chu Yao suddenly exclaimed, her electronic eyes flashing with excitement.

"Su Qing's bloodline contains a special energy, an energy that can...can..."

Chu Yao's voice stopped abruptly, her electronic eyes suddenly dimmed, and her body began to tremble violently.

"My...my system...has...malfunctioned..."

"Chu Yao! What's wrong?" Lin Yi quickly helped Chu Yao up and asked anxiously.

Chu Yao forced a smile, "I...I'm fine...it's just...I sacrificed...some...functions..."

After learning about Su Qing's background and the key information analyzed by Chu Yao, the team members were greatly encouraged.

Dragon Five excitedly waved his dragon claws, "Haha! We're saved now!" Whitebeard also revealed a determined smile, "For the sake of this world, we must fight to the end!"

"Next, we will..." Lin Yi was about to speak when suddenly, the temple gates burst open with a deafening roar, dust flying everywhere, and the sound was as loud as thunder.

"Haha, Lin Yi, this time you're doomed!" Night Owl's voice, as cold as a viper's, came from outside the door.

He led a group of elite black-clad soldiers, armed with various weapons, and surrounded Lin Yi and his companions.

The owl walked steadily, a gloating smile on its face, as if victory was in sight.

"What, you've chickened out when you see me?" Night Owl swung his weapon triumphantly, a cold glint in his eyes.

Long Wu's eyes widened in anger, his fists clenched, veins bulging, as if he were ready to charge at any moment.

Whitebeard gripped his longsword tightly, his eyes resolute, his body slightly leaning forward, ready for battle at any moment.

Aizen calmly observed the situation, his eyes flashing with deep thought.

Lin Yi's eyes narrowed, and a cold smile appeared on his lips. "Night Owl, you've come at the perfect time. It saves us the trouble of looking for you."

"Hmph, stubborn as ever!" Night Owl sneered, a wicked smile playing on his lips. Suddenly, he waved his hand and shouted, "Brothers, let's go!"

Before the words were even finished, the elite black-clad warriors surged forward like a tide, unleashing a barrage of attacks that plunged the temple into chaos.
