Chapter 108 Raid on the Camp

After several days of rapid march, both the headhunters and goblins were exhausted. Now that they had stopped to recuperate, they naturally had to rest well and eat something hot.

As the leader, Panok said that the undead would not appear before sunset, so the coalition forces were not nervous at all. They didn't even arrange sentries because they were tired. They just gathered together in a large crowd, making a lot of noise and cooking.

"Do you know how to kill the undead?"

"I don't know, you know?"

"I've inquired about it. It's said that in order to kill the undead, one must destroy their spirit bodies."

Two headhunters who left the camp to relieve themselves were chatting. One of them shivered, pulled up his pants, and was about to speak when he looked up inadvertently and was stunned.

"Do you think the undead will appear at this time?"

"Haha, what are you talking about? The leader said that the undead appear at night, and the sun hasn't set yet."

"Then look at what that is."

Noticing his companion's strange tone, another headhunter frowned and looked over, his eyes widening in vain. Not far from them, a group of skeletons stood silently, with blue flames burning in their skulls. When they saw them looking over, the leading skeleton tilted its head.

Undead!

The headhunter gasped, reached out and pushed his companion towards the undead, then turned and ran.

His companion staggered two steps and looked back in surprise, only to see the backs of the headhunters fleeing in panic. When he turned back, he was facing a skull, and felt a sharp pain in his heart as the bone knife pierced into him without a handle.

The headhunter couldn't escape either. He had just taken a few steps when a whistling arrow flew over and nailed him to the ground.

The last thing he saw was arrows raining down on the allied camp...

call out--

A hundred or so arrows fell into the camp, but it didn't seem to cause any harm, and even confused the coalition forces who were making a fire and cooking. They didn't realize what was happening until the second wave of long bone arrows fell.

"Enemy attack!"

The headhunters kicked over pots and pans, picked up their weapons, and looked for places to hide from the arrows, while the goblins panicked and ran around screaming.

The senior skeleton warrior raised the bone knife in his hand and swung it hard towards the camp. The skeleton undead behind him took a step forward and launched an attack on the coalition camp.

"Chief! Undead! The undead are coming to kill us!"

"Bullshit! The sun is still in the sky, how can there be ghosts?"

"real!"

Looking at the tribesmen in front of him, Panok was furious, but he heard panic shouting in his ears. Regardless of whether there were undead coming to kill him, something must have happened outside. He did not dare to delay. He picked up a thick bone stick and walked out of the tent with the tribesmen who came to report the news.

There was chaos outside. The unexpected attack made the goblins useless. Most of the goblins were running around, while a small number of goblins picked up weapons and fought against the undead together with the headhunters.

puff!

With a scream, blood splattered on the legs of Panok who had just come out of the tent. The goblin's throat was cut and it fell to the ground dead. The skeleton undead who killed the goblin looked at Panok and stepped forward with a bone knife in hand.

Panok's eyes narrowed, and he swung the bone stick in his hand with lightning speed. Before the undead could react, the bone stick had already hit his skull, blowing his skull off.

Wisps of soul fire rose and floated in the air.

The soul fire was extinguished, and the undead turned into bones and scattered on the ground.

Not caring about the undead that were killed, Panok turned around and looked around, only to find that countless undead had already rushed into the camp, and arrows were constantly being shot from the sky.

He looked up at the sun in the sky and couldn't help cursing in his heart, Damn, the sun is still there, why do the undead appear?

However, he had no time to think about it. He had to organize people to fight back against the undead. The Headhunters were easy to deal with, but the main problem was the Goblins. Those dwarfs were completely panicked and ran everywhere. Not only did they fail to help, but they also made things worse.

"Blow the horn!"

Panok gnashed his teeth and stuffed a beast horn into the arms of his tribesmen, then walked forward with a bone club. Any undead who dared to stand in his way had their skulls smashed and their souls dissipated.

Beep, beep—

A dull and low horn sounded, and the headhunters who heard the call immediately found their backbone. They broke through the obstruction of the undead and gathered in the direction of the sound. Some tribesmen discovered Panok and spontaneously approached him to resist the undead together with him.

A goblin ran towards Panok in a panic, with a skeleton undead chasing behind him. The goblin wanted to lead the skeleton undead to Panok to divert the disaster so that he could escape.

What he didn't expect was that Panok ignored the undead and instead slapped him in the face. The goblin spun around twice, feeling dizzy and seeing stars, and then he felt his body flying into the air.

Panok held the bone stick tightly in one hand and picked up the goblin with the other. Using the goblin as a shield, he faced the skeleton undead. The bone knife pierced into the goblin's body, causing him to scream. At this time, Panok's drumstick swung from the side and smashed the undead's skull.

Looking up and around, more and more undead noticed Panok and were gathering towards him.

"Retreat! Retreat together! Prepare for a surprise attack!" Panok shouted as he led the tribesmen around him to retreat and join up with more tribesmen.

Under Panok's command, the Headhunters recovered from the sudden attack of the undead, gathered together and resisted the undead. Although they were pierced by arrows, they were much better than the goblins who ran around and were easily killed by the undead.
