Chapter 109: Watching the Battle Quietly

Wounds began to appear on their bodies, more and more, and they were almost torn into pieces by the hacking of swords.

"Boss, help...ah!"

"I'll fight you!"

The Headhunters fought back frantically, but their numbers were too small and they had no room to move, so they could only fall down howling in pain.

There are as many as ten thousand undead intercepting them here.

The goblins' fate was no better than that of the headhunters. They died even faster than the headhunters. They no longer had the will to resist, and it was impossible for them to escape. It was simply because of their large numbers that they died more slowly.

The afterglow of the setting sun disappeared, and darkness descended upon the earth again. None of the headhunters and goblins could escape, and were completely surrounded and killed by the skeleton undead who were ambushing there.

Nearly 6,000 undead were wiped out by the frantically resisting headhunters and goblins, in return for the complete annihilation of nearly 3,000 enemies.

The reason why the undead suffered such heavy losses was that the battle was not fought at night, which weakened the undead's combat effectiveness.

"They're all dead. The coalition forces have been wiped out. Mengmeng, let's go back, quickly."

Meng Ni, who witnessed the entire process of the undead annihilating the coalition forces, took her sister's hand and ran towards the tribe, completely unaware that her sister's eyes were sparkling in the dark, her eyeballs rolling around, full of little stars of admiration.

Although the undead are not as ferocious as the legend says, they are indeed very strong!

There were so many headhunters and goblins, but not many of them escaped. They all died. This is probably the origin of the legend of the undead.

They have so much food. If we can live under their protection like the Minotaur, it should be comfortable and safe, and we don’t have to worry about food.

Meng Nicole did not have the same idea as Mengmeng. Having witnessed the annihilation of the coalition forces, her only impression of the undead was that they were brutal.

Neither the Headhunters nor the Goblins deserve sympathy, but being killed like that still makes Meng Ni feel heartbroken. She doesn't want to have any contact with the undead anymore. She just wants to return to the tribe and hide in her own cave, where she is safe.

After all, Mengni is older than Mengmeng and thinks more. The cancerous race has always existed and has not been eliminated. Why?

They have strong combat capabilities, maybe. Compared with many races, they are probably stronger, but the more important thing is numbers!

Whether it is the Headhunters or the Lizardmen, there are quite a few of them, not to mention the Goblins, which are even more numerous.

They were the ones who gave the coalition's intelligence to the undead, and thousands of coalition soldiers died in the blink of an eye. How could the coalition not be angry? Meng Nicole didn't believe that the coalition had only a few thousand people, and she would definitely retaliate.

The undead may not care about the coalition’s revenge, but what about them?

If the coalition forces knew that they were the ones who betrayed them, not only the two young cat people, but even the Dora Cat Tribe would be slaughtered.

This kind of thing does happen, in fact it happens a lot. The cancerous race has a very strong desire for revenge. They use fear and cruel means to suppress tribes that are dissatisfied with them.

The more she thought about it, the more panicked Meng Ni became. She could only pray that the undead would not spread the information they had given, otherwise they would really be dead!

After leaving the fortress, the two sisters originally wanted to go back to the tribe directly, but later they couldn't resist their curiosity and ran to take a look.

"Who is it?" When they were approaching the Dora Cat Tribe, the two sisters were discovered. Coincidentally, they were the same two night watch cats from last time.

"It's me, Mengni." Mengni walked up and said to the two of them.

The night watchman carefully identified her and looked behind her. Seeing that it was Meng Meng, a look of displeasure immediately appeared on his face. "It's you again. You always run out at night. Go home quickly!"

Meng Meng was about to say something, but her sister pulled her back. She then followed her sister indignantly and walked towards her cave under the watchful eyes of the two night watchmen cats.

"Sister! Why are you pulling me?" the little cat girl Mengmeng shouted angrily.

"Okay, okay, stop shouting. It's true that we came back late." Frightened by the battle just now, Meng Ni was still not calm in her heart and had some lingering fears, but she still forced a smile and said to Meng Meng.

Mengmeng was still unhappy, but she didn't say anything more and just let the other person hold her hand obediently.

The last time she came back, she was holding the meat in her hands and was caught by two night-watching cats. Meng Ni thought more than her sister. She understood very well the principle of not showing off one's wealth. Before returning to the tribe, she had stuffed all the meat into her clothes and hid it close to her body.

Although this makes her look a little fatter, it's dark now and you can still get away with it as long as you don't look too closely.

Only after returning to the cave safely did Meng Ni finally breathe a sigh of relief and quickly took out the meat and hid it.

When Mengmeng saw Rourou, she immediately smiled. It didn’t matter whether the tribesmen were angry or not. Rourou was the most important.

"Sister, should we tell the clan leader about this?" Mengmeng suddenly asked.

"..." Meng Ni paused for a moment and thought, "We have to talk to the clan leader, but we can't tell him everything."

She couldn't hide it. The tribe leader knew that she went to find Mengmeng. Unless they didn't return to the tribe, the tribe leader would come and ask even if they didn't say it on their own initiative.

"You wait at home, don't run around, guard the meat, I'll go find the patriarch." Meng Ni pinched her sister's face and said.

"Well, okay, I understand." Mengmeng originally wanted to go together, but when she heard her sister say this, she nodded quickly. She had to protect Rourou. If no one was at home, what if some of the tribesmen sneaked in and stole the meat?
