He thought that a conscientious businessman would be a greasy middle-aged man in his thirties or forties, but he didn't expect that he was a young man with messy hair, dark circles under his eyes, and a listless spirit.
Behind the conscientious businessman were hundreds of mole people, who were looking at the undead with horror on their faces.
"Lord of the Undead City, it's me, a conscientious businessman. We're one of us. Don't shoot!" The conscientious businessman raised his hands and shouted until his voice almost broke.
Li Ziyu raised his hand, and the skeleton warriors immediately moved in an orderly manner to make way. The conscientious businessman looked at the undead, then looked at Li Ziyu at the back of the passage. He gritted his teeth, stepped forward, and walked through the passage with some trembling.
He was really scared. He had communicated with the Undead City Lord several times, but that didn't mean the other party had no ill will towards him. If the other party gave an order at this time, he would really be hacked to death by the surrounding undead.
Fortunately, this was just his fantasy. In fact, the undead did not move at all. They just stared at the mole people silently, preventing them from coming forward.
"Huh... Hello, Lord of the Undead City. I am the conscientious businessman you have contacted. My real name is Zhang Peng." The conscientious businessman Zhang Peng came to Li Ziyu, stretched out his hand and introduced himself.
Li Ziyu stared at his face for a few seconds, then looked at his outstretched hand, raised an eyebrow, and shook his hand. "My name is Li Ziyu. Where are the Headhunters? Did you get rid of them?"
He had just observed that there seemed to be no pursuers behind the mole people's mobile fortress as Zhang Peng mentioned. He did not see any of the headhunters, and the skeleton longbowmen who were lying in ambush did not warn him.
"Oh, what about the people behind? I ran fast and got here first. They will definitely chase us soon." Zhang Peng said with a wry smile.
Then he reacted and asked quickly, "By the way, where are your undead? These aren't the only ones, are they? There are hundreds of headhunters. Can these undead be able to stop them?"
"Don't worry, we can hold them off. As for you, leave the fort here first to attract the Headhunters and let your molemen stay away. We'll go to the mountain to watch the battle." Li Ziyu said to Zhang Peng with a mysterious smile.
"This... my fortress has to stop here? Isn't that a bad idea?" When Zhang Peng heard that the fortress was going to be abandoned here, his face turned bitter and he was a little at a loss.
He really wanted to refuse, but he didn't have the courage. If he said no, Li Ziyu would just turn around and leave, and he would be in trouble.
Li Ziyu saw Zhang Peng's expression and guessed what he was thinking. He sighed and said, "Trust is the basis of becoming friends. If you don't trust me, you can leave now. I won't stop you."
What I mean is, if I don’t trust you, we’re not friends, so you just give up and leave?
Is that even possible?
If you run away, I'll be dead!
"No, no, no, please don't say that. I'm very grateful that you are willing to help me. The fortress will stay here, and I will follow you." The situation forced Zhang Peng to hesitate and he said hurriedly.
Seeing that Zhang Peng understood, Li Ziyu smiled and turned to walk up the mountain. Zhang Peng turned his head to look at his mole man and hurried to catch up. After the two of them left, an undead came forward and led the mole man up the mountain.
These undead look scary, but there don't seem to be enough of them.
While walking up the mountain, Zhang Peng stole glances at the skeleton warriors, wondering in his heart whether Li Ziyu had fought too fiercely in the previous battle and killed all his undead men, and now he had to rely on such a small number of people to hold on.
But don't get carried away and think you're good enough after winning a game. That would be terrible. Otherwise, I should find a retreat first. If I lose, I will run away immediately. Maybe there is still a chance to survive.
Compared to Zhang Peng who was nervous, Li Ziyu seemed calm and composed. He did not take the upcoming headhunters seriously at all. Or rather, in Li Ziyu's eyes, they were not headhunters at all. They were just a group of soul energy packs who came to give gifts!
The two men came to the mountain, where there were about a hundred skeleton undead waiting for them, as well as a dozen high-level skeleton warriors, who served as temporary guards for the two men. There were still many wild beasts and monsters in the Mountains of the Dead, and these undead were there to guard against them.
"Let's just watch the game here. Don't worry, it's okay." Li Ziyu found a big rock to sit on, and seeing that Zhang Peng looked uneasy, he persuaded him.
Zhang Peng forced a smile, but did not sit down like Li Ziyu. Instead, he kept looking at the mobile fortress parked below. That was the basis of his survival in the alien world.
In the wilderness, more than 500 headhunters followed the wheel tracks left by the mole people's mobile fortress and chased them all the way. Under the moonlight, they saw a huge creature standing still in the distance.
"Where is it!" A hint of excitement flashed in the eyes of the headhunting tribe leader. He raised his hand and pointed forward to signal his tribesmen.
The other headhunters also discovered the mobile fortress and followed their leader, slowing down their pace and moving forward carefully, while keeping an eye on their surroundings to prevent any sneak attacks.
"Here I come."
Li Ziyu, who was resting with his eyes closed on the mountain, received a message from the dead. He suddenly opened his eyes and called out softly to Zhang Peng.
Zhang Peng, who was already nervous, tensed up all of a sudden when he heard this. He looked frantically in the direction of his fortress, but he couldn't see clearly. After waiting for a few minutes, he vaguely saw some black spots slowly approaching the mobile fortress.
Gurgle.
Zhang Peng's Adam's apple moved, he swallowed his saliva, and his body tensed up.
Unlike Li Ziyu, he seldom fought with others after coming to the other world. He chose the business route and valued peace. He didn't know much about fighting.
Li Ziyu stood up and walked to Zhang Peng. He looked down at the headhunters approaching from below with cold eyes. The corners of his mouth curled up in a mocking smile.
