Chapter 463 The Monster is Coming

Duya Mountain, the lair of the Byron vampires.

In the eerie and dark cave, the Byron vampire spread his huge bat wings and scurried around in the cave as fast as lightning, flying continuously to speed up the circulation of his blood in preparation for the night hunt.

There was an lingering stench of decay in the cave. Lying scattered on the damp ground were dried corpses whose blood had been drained. Some had already rotted, while others had simply turned into bones. At a glance, there were at least thousands of them.

These corpses were all humans, beasts, and monsters captured by the Byron vampires from various places. Obviously, the vampires had no intention of cleaning their own "house" and discarded the leftover food at will, leaving it to rot on its own.

In the past, the Byron vampires would go out to look for food after moving their bodies, but today the situation was a little different. They did not leave, but instead fell on the stalactites, constantly emitting strange sound waves from their mouths, stimulating the corpses below.

Under the constant calling of Byron the vampire, the corpse suddenly opened its eyes.

Those were a pair of dead white eyes without pupils. The blue-black blood vessels on the dried-up corpses were bulging. The corpses were trembling and slowly crawling up.

The "resurrected" corpse walked unsteadily, swinging back and forth as if its joints were dislocated.

Byron's bloody corpse.

A half-magical, half-undead blood-based creature created by Byron vampires using the toxins in their blood.

They have no intelligence and are completely subservient to the Byron vampires.

Although they have no intelligence, the Byron Blood Corpses have the same feeding instinct as wild beasts. Their thirst for blood drives them to seek out all living things around them and catch them to suck their blood.

What's even more terrifying is that Byron's blood corpses can become stronger and stronger by sucking blood, and the stronger they become, the more they crave blood.

With repeated hunting, Byron's blood corpse's hunting skills will be enhanced.

The long-lived Byron Blood Corpses are excellent hunters, and their excellence is accompanied by endless blood and evil.

Thousands of Byron blood corpses were awakened by Byron vampires. Driven by Byron vampires, the blood corpses staggered out of the cave.

This process was not smooth. The Byron blood corpses that had just revived did not know how to dodge at all. They were often tripped by protruding rocks and had to struggle for half a day before they could stand up again. After leaving the cave, the situation became even more serious, and they would even fall off the cliff.

But after all, they are half-magic and half-undead creatures. They have long lost their sense of pain, and falling from a height will only make them struggle for a while longer.

The Byron vampire flew out of the cave of Duya Mountain like a bat, soaring into the sky and forming a large black shadow under the moonlight.

They circled around Duya Mountain, screaming continuously, using sound waves to control Byron's blood corpses and drive the direction of their movements.

That direction was clearly the city of Sundberg.

At night, on the outskirts of Sonderborg.

The lights were out, thick wooden boards covered the doors and windows, and the noisy world during the day became silent. Even livestock would not make any noise at this night.

High in the sky, black figures flew over, spreading their wide bat wings and staring at the rough and simple houses circling in the sky below.

A Byron vampire broke away from the group and landed on the ground. He turned his head and looked back. There were densely packed figures swaying there. They were thousands of newly resurrected, hungry Byron blood corpses, staggering over from the One Tooth Mountain.

The Byron vampire who landed on the ground raised his claws with sharp nails, pointed at the simple house in the distance under the night sky, and opened his mouth to emit sound waves.

As the order came down, Byron's blood corpse, which was originally just wandering around, made "hehe" and "err" sounds from its mouth, and its speed suddenly increased as it rushed towards the house in the distance.

The Byron vampires are tired of capturing people one by one, they are hungry and eager for a carnival!

They have been to Sundberg many times and have long been familiar with this place. No one cares about the humans outside the city, and the people inside the city walls taste better, but what really makes them salivate are the humans behind the high walls of the inner city!

They want to taste the blood of those people.

Tonight, they came with bloody corpses. They wanted to break through the city walls, kill indiscriminately, and have a hearty meal. They wanted to go behind the high walls and taste the humans hiding behind them.

The blood corpses approached the human gathering place in the suburbs.

They have the same problem as Byron vampires, their eyesight is not very good, but their hearing is very developed and they can hear the smallest noises.

The delicious smell of blood coming from behind the "wood" stimulated the blood corpses. Hunger made them restless, and their thick, long, black nails scraped against the wooden board, making a crackling sound.

When the people in the house scream because of the scratching sound, Byron's blood corpse will receive the signal and frantically bang on the doors and windows to launch an attack.

The attack of one Byron Blood Corpse will attract the attention of its companions, and more Byron Blood Corpses will follow suit and attack.

Whenever doors and windows are destroyed, a brutal feast begins.

It doesn't take too long to suck a human's blood dry. Usually four or five blood corpses pounce on a person and can suck the blood dry and turn the person into a mummy in three or two minutes.

The large-scale attack caused chaos in the suburbs. More and more people screamed out of fear, and what awaited them was to be sucked dry of blood by the blood corpses.

This is a large-scale attack, and tonight is not a game of hide and seek.

As more and more people were killed, blood appeared on the corpses from time to time, and the blue-black blood vessels on the surface of the body became thicker and thicker. This was because they absorbed the energy in the blood.
