The skeleton in front of him was like a dead object. After he finished speaking, there was no movement, and even the flames in its eye sockets did not change at all.
Wait, could these skeletons be dead?
Jonathan's expression changed. He glanced at the Skeleton Sprayer in front of him and took a tentative step forward.
Um?
No action?
Go forward.
Still no movement.
Jonathan was relieved. It seemed that these bones could no longer move for some unknown reason.
There is nothing to be afraid of if the bones cannot move.
He took the third step confidently.
Swish!
The Skeleton Blaster-4s raised their guns in unison, pointing the black muzzles at Jonathan. Their threatening intentions were obvious: if anyone moved forward, they would be treated as an invader.
Jonathan's body froze.
He had seen this thing last night, but didn't know what it was called. However, it was obviously a magic item that could spit out flames, make loud noises, and attack from a long distance. It was extremely powerful, and even the skin of a vampire monster that could block swords could be penetrated by this magic item.
If you get hit by this, you'll be in trouble!
Jonathan remained silent, and froze in place along with the Skeleton Sprayer guarding the manor.
The two guards at the back were about to move forward when they saw this, but Torento stopped them with his hand, "Let me go."
The two men looked at Torento, stepped back silently, and made room for him.
Torunto straightened his clothes, stepped forward, and said respectfully, "Please tell the master that his dependent Torunto has returned."
The Skeleton Sprayer slowly turned his skull, the soul fire in his eyes flickered, he looked at Torunto and nodded slowly. They felt the aura of the followers that had been activated on Torunto's body.
As the soul fire beat, the information was transmitted to the villa.
Li Ziyu, who was still sleeping, opened his eyes blankly, rubbed his hair and sat up from the bed.
"Let them in." Li Ziyu said to himself.
Elena, who was sitting bored on the side, saw Li Ziyu get up and talk to herself again, with a confused look on her face, "Are you talking to me?"
Li Ziyu stood up and stretched, explaining sleepily, "Torento is back. He couldn't get in at the door, so I asked someone to let him in."
Elena said "Oh" and continued to sit there in a daze.
Li Ziyu checked the time in the system and found that he had not slept for long. No wonder he still felt very sleepy.
Torrento is very fast.
The information was passed from one undead to another and finally reached the gate of the manor.
The Skeleton Sprayer looked at Torento, then at Jonathan and the shepherds and soldiers behind him, put away his gun, and made way.
Torento saluted respectfully, then said to Jonathan, "Please come in, Lord City Lord."
Having been stopped before, Jonathan didn't dare to leave first. He smiled at Torunto and said, "Torunto, this is your manor, so naturally you go first."
Oh, it would have been nice if you had been so polite earlier.
Torento sneered in his heart, but his facial expression did not change. He smiled and nodded, then led the way inside.
Jonathan and the others followed. As soon as they entered the manor, the Wind Rangers came up and followed them on both sides.
The soldiers who followed had no idea what the Wind Rangers were, but they instinctively felt that the Wind Rangers were not to be trifled with. They silently gripped their weapons and followed their masters closely.
They arrived at the villa without any obstructions. The young butler was already waiting at the door. When he saw a large group of people coming from afar, he hurriedly bowed to greet them.
Torento turned his head to look at Jonathan and said softly, "Lord City Lord, there is no need for the soldiers to go in. This is a private residence."
Jonathan thought for a moment and nodded, "Well, the soldiers are just outside, no need to follow them in."
The only ones who followed Torento into the villa were Lord Jonathan of Sundberg and two other pastors.
Li Ziyu knew that someone was coming, and it seemed that he was coming for him, so he called the butler and asked him to arrange the living room.
After last night, the housekeeper had no objection to Li Ziyu's orders. Instead, he felt that this was very normal.
Even their master, Torento, was so respectful to Li Ziyu, so naturally those of them who survived because of his protection should be even more respectful.
The young butler led the four people into the living room.
When they entered the living room, they immediately saw a man standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with his hands behind his back, looking at the scenery outside.
Hearing the footsteps, Li Ziyu turned around and looked at the four people calmly.
Torento took two steps forward and shouted, "Master, I'm back."
Li Ziyu smiled slightly and nodded, "Well, who are these people?"
Torento quickly introduced, "This is Jonathan, the mayor of our Sundberg City."
Jonathan, who was already middle-aged, looked at the young Li Ziyu. Without any greeting, he just nodded.
He found it hard to believe that such a young man could be the owner of the holy corpse.
Torento pointed to the other two and introduced them, "These two are the shepherds of Sundberg. This one is Beta, and this one is Omar."
Beta and Omar both looked to be in their thirties, about the same age as Torento.
Beta had a mustache, leaned on a walking stick, and wore a top hat, looking like a typical aristocrat. If it weren't for Torento's introduction, it would be hard to associate him with the position of shepherd.
Omar had a neatly trimmed beard and his hair was tied in a ponytail. He wore tight-fitting clothes and a one-handed sword at his waist.
Compared to Mu Shou, Omer is dressed more like a swordsman.
