Chapter 10 Taking care of children

Mu Yi'an can't embroider, but she does know basic needlework and cutting. Combined with the original owner's memories, she can thread a needle quite well.

I made two bras this morning. I'll try them on tonight to see if they fit.

During this time, she fed Jiang Chuyue once, changed her diaper once, and took Jiang Shaoyun out to pee.

"Shao Yun, keep an eye on your sister, I'm going to do the laundry."

"I know, I won't turn things around."

"Yes, Shao Yun is really good at preventing my sister from rolling to the edge of the bed. She's a great help to Mom."

The boy who was being praised showed off a few small teeth and involuntarily straightened his posture.

Mu Yi'an took the clothes to be washed and went out. The door to the inner room was not closed, and she could hear any noise.

"I really miss washing machines! I wish there were a semi-automatic one too!"

Mu Yi'an muttered to herself as she rubbed the clothes.

Fortunately, there were time-traveling predecessors who invented some things that made life a little easier, like this bar of soap in her hand. It was the most primitive kind, a yellowish-brown bar, but it worked quite well.

Mu Yi'an was quick and efficient, and finished washing the clothes in no time. She rinsed them twice with clean water before hanging them to dry. She found a sunny spot to dry them, which would also kill any germs and be good for her health.

Back in the inner room, little Jiang Shaoyun was still dutifully watching over his younger sister, preventing her from turning over on the edge of the bed.

"Shao Yun is great, he takes such good care of his sister. Let's go outside and play for a while."

"Take care of my younger sister."

"Yes, let's bring my sister along. Let's see if the flowers in the yard are blooming, and if there are any butterflies."

Mu Yi'an was carrying the little one, followed by the second one, and the older one was at school and wouldn't be back until noon.

Who would have thought that the usually carefree Mu Yi'an would have such a day, carrying a baby on her back, holding a baby in her arms, and almost having another one in her belly.

Life is unpredictable; you never know what you'll encounter!

"Mom, I'm home from school."

At the gate, Jiang Shaoming's childish voice made Mu Yi'an give a helpless bitter smile.

"Shao Ming is back. You must be tired from school. Come in quickly."

Since you're here, make the best of it. Knowing your place is the key to living well.
