Wang Ma agreed and went to catch chickens.
Mu Yi'an quickly learned the situation and that Brother Jiang had also returned, so she had to go back too. Jiang Shuyun wasn't home, so she couldn't just stay out of it. The people at the old house were overjoyed that Brother Jiang had passed the imperial examination and become a scholar.
Mu's parents knew that Yi'an was going back, so they didn't stop him. They had Uncle Wang hitch up the carriage and take the mother and children home.

"Second sister-in-law, has your brother-in-law returned as well?"
