Mu Yi'an called the three children over, and Aunt Xu had prepared lunch.
"We're here, Mother, we've come."
"Mom, I'm hungry!"

As soon as their mother mentioned eating, all three children felt hungry.

Mu Yi'an took the three chattering children to wash up and change clothes. The puppy was also tired, so it went to lie down in its bed.

After lunch, Mu Yi'an and Jiang Qi took their three children for a walk nearby to digest their food.

Chu Yue rubbed her eyes. She takes a nap every day at noon, and gets sleepy when the time comes.

Mu Yi'an took the three children back for an afternoon nap, while Jiang Qi wandered around alone. She saw several kinds of herbs and wanted to study them.
I had only seen pictures in books before, so seeing the real thing this time was quite a surprise.
After their afternoon nap, the three children played with the puppy for a while. Mu Yi'an noticed it was getting late and called the children home.
"Mother, let's come back down and catch fish."
"Come on, play with the dog."
"Mom, when is Father coming back? It would be even better if we could all come together."
The three children expressed their thoughts, and Mu Yi'an patiently answered them. As for when Jiang Shuyun would be able to come back, she didn't know either; she missed him too.
