Chapter 23 Goat milk can be non-goaty.

Everything is ready; now it's just a matter of seeing how things go tomorrow.

The moon rises and sets, and the sun rises to work again. Mu Yi'an's biological clock has been set, and she gets up on time.

She found the wooden bucket she had cleaned the day before, and carried it to the backyard to milk the goats.

The two ewes had already gotten up. Mu Yi'an gave them a handful of grass, picked up a bucket, and started milking them.

It had been a long time since I had done this kind of work. At first, I couldn't control my strength well, and the ewes kept bleating. But I gradually got used to it and it got better.

Two sheep produced half a bucket of milk; the rest was to be given to the lamb.

"You're done already? I still want to go take a look!"

Jiang Shuyun was quite disappointed; despite his best efforts, he was still too late.

"I'll be waiting for you tomorrow. I'm going to boil some goat milk. You should get back to your workout."

Mu Yi'an has been secretly practicing yoga in her room these past few days and is already feeling much better.

Mu Yi'an kept stirring, and slowly, the aroma of milk began to emerge.

"Second sister-in-law, it's a success! I can smell it!"

Why are you back from outside so early?

“I took Shuwen to catch his bus; he went back to work in the county town today.”

Li Qiuniang's mood instantly dropped; she was a little reluctant to part with her man.

"Ah! I forgot about that. Try it in a bit, I think it tastes pretty good. If Shao Kun really doesn't want to drink it, you can add a little sugar."

"Okay, I understand. Second sister-in-law, thank you for your hard work. I'll go in and check on Shao Kun first, then I'll come back to help later."

Li Qiuniang returned to their west wing. Mu Yi'an used a rag to move the earthenware pot down, then placed another earthenware pot on top, and continued to boil goat milk.

A milky aroma wafted out, waking the children in the house. They wondered what smelled so good!
