117th Mid-Autumn Festival

The four children were having a great time, mainly because of a rope; it was brightly colored and very eye-catching.

Seeing that the four of them were having a good time, Shao Ning slowly gathered around and soon joined in.

Chu Tong stood at a distance. The little girl was very restrained by her mother, and her liveliness was somewhat diminished. Watching her younger siblings playing happily, she could only watch from afar, her eyes filled with envy.

Jiang Shuwen observed the children's demeanor. Shao Ming displayed the qualities of a caring older brother, looking after his younger siblings and possessing his own opinions. Shao Yun was lively, and although Chu Yue was young, she was not timid. His own Shao Kun was a bit shy, but he listened to his older brother. Shao Ning was somewhat shy, hesitant in his actions, and prone to indecisiveness.

“Give it back to us. Stealing is wrong, cousin.”

Jiang Shuwen's thoughts were pulled back. He didn't know when Shao Qin had come over and taken away the ropes from the children.

"You guys are so stingy. It's just a rope. I'm the eldest brother. If I want it, do you dare refuse me?"

"Why wouldn't you dare? How can an older brother not care for his younger brother? What kind of logic is that?"

Even when facing his cousin, who was a head taller than him, Shao Ming did not back down.

"Jiang Shaoqin, what are you doing?"

Grandpa Jiang overheard the children arguing and learned the whole story. Jiang Shaoqin was punished by being sent to his study to face the wall in repentance and to copy the *Di Zi Gui* (Standards for Being a Good Student and Child).

"Shuheng, you need to work on Shaoqin's temperament, otherwise, this child won't go far."

"I understand, Dad. I'll figure something out."

Brother Jiang knew that his eldest son had many flaws and that they had to be corrected.

Because of Shao Qin's meddling, Shao Yun put away the colorful rope and went to play other games with her brother and sister.

Mu Yi'an was unaware of the children's noise; she was busy in the kitchen, sweating profusely.
