6. Flirt and run

6. Flirt and run

It had been two years since I last contacted Zhu Zhiyang. At that time, he and his college girlfriend were preparing for their wedding. When the wedding photos were posted, Wen Hua joined her old classmates in liking the posts to express her congratulations. By the evening, she had been blocked.

Zhu Zhiyang is the only boy Wen Hua has ever truly loved. They became classmates when they were separated into different classes in the second year of high school. At first, they were just classmates. Wen Hua was rebellious and didn't like studying at that time. She skipped classes all day to go to the Internet cafe with a few boys she was close to. Wen's mother gave her five yuan for breakfast every day, which she used all to go online. At that time, the Internet cafe in the small town cost two yuan an hour.

The first time they had an in-depth conversation was when Wen Hua wanted to skip class to go online. She had no money in her pocket, so she asked Zhu Zhiyang, who was sitting next to her, to borrow some. Zhu Zhiyang held a brand new five-yuan bill and repeatedly asked her, "Will you pay me back? Will you really pay me back?"

Wen Hua knew her reputation. When she had nothing to do, she always liked to tease her classmates with her best friend Xiao Ma. Sometimes they would block the classroom door after school and ask classmates for money one by one, like two real hooligans. At the beginning, they had a good harvest. After one round, the two of them could buy a bunch of spicy strips and ice cream and hide in the back mountain to eat them. But after doing this many times, the classmates learned to be smart and ran away when they saw them.

But even the flower thief has his own code of conduct. If he asks for money, he will never return it. But borrowing money is another matter. When he gets home at night, he tells his mother that he lost his money and borrowed five yuan from his classmates. When he leaves the house the next morning, there are two five-yuan bills on the table.

It is really hard to say when they started to become close. Zhu Zhiyang has an outstanding appearance. He was 1.8 meters tall in high school, with skin as white as a vampire, thick eyebrows and big eyes, and he dressed neatly. Many girls liked him, and later Wen Hua joined him.

They started chatting on QQ, sharing music, books, and the pain of studying. By the time the college entrance examination was over, the two of them had already established a relationship where they would hang out privately.

At that time, the place they went most often was the riverside. They would sit on the riverbank and chat. Wen Hua would secretly smoke, and Zhu Zhiyang would watch her smoke.

During the long vacation after graduating from high school, Wen Hua got a small electric car. It was originally bought for Wen He who worked in the suburbs, but she rode it twice because the road was too dusty and she put it aside. So Wen Hua rode the pink motorcycle around the small town all day long. In the evening, she sat on the back seat and Zhu Zhiyang took her to the river.

The night before going to college, the two were chatting on QQ, and Zhu Zhiyang said, "I want to kiss you."

Wen Huaxin skipped a beat, and he immediately said, "Not on the mouth, I just want to kiss your forehead, is that okay?"

She looked at the time. It was already half past eleven. It was impossible for her to go out. Her parents would accompany her to report early tomorrow morning, so they would not be able to meet.

"I know, I just want to tell you that I miss... you very much now."

The days after school started were busy and novel, and Wen Hua gradually forgot that night, but Zhu Zhiyang, who was in a distant southern city, often contacted her, and the two shared each other's college life.

"You two are in a long-distance relationship!" Roommate Yangyang revealed the secret. The beauty of ambiguity is that both parties know it but don't expose it. Exposing it means defining the relationship, which she doesn't like.

So when she received Zhu Zhiyang's caring text message the next morning, she couldn't help but feel a strong disgust. She stopped replying to the messages. A week later, under Zhu Zhiyang's continuous text message bombardment, she told him to get away.

[Okay, I'm leaving, take care of yourself], this is the last message.

After one semester, I heard that he had a girlfriend. At that time, Wen Hua hadn't looked at his QQ space or WeChat for a long time. That summer, Zhu Zhiyang stayed in the south to work part-time, and I could always hear news about him at class reunions. Wen Hua would open his space to see how he was feeling.

There were more than twenty things about her, including private places and songs known only to the two of them, all written in his mood. He said they appeared in his dreams.

There was a message from a girl under each post. The last one about her was posted a month ago. He said he dreamed of a pink electric car parked by the river, and he said he kissed her forehead.

The girl left a message saying, "You still can't forget her, right? Then what am I?"

Although she knew she shouldn't do that, she still clicked into her space. When she saw the photo of the two of them, Wen Hua cried.

She'd felt relaxed and at ease since Zhu Zhiyang's departure, but at this moment, she felt sad. Not regret, but sadness. He was clearly the boy she'd loved so much, hadn't she? She'd liked to have skipped the teacher's farewell party and spent an entire night sitting by the river with him, and that would have made her life complete, wouldn't it? Why was she only relieved and happy after losing such a boy? Her roommate was right; she was truly cruel.

We met again during the winter break of my junior year. On New Year's Eve, Wen Hua sent a group of blessing text messages at home. I received his blessing and we exchanged greetings. When the clock struck twelve, Zhu Zhiyang said, "I really loved you."

Wen Hua hid in the bathroom and cried inconsolably.

When school started again, Wenhua found that she had been blocked on all QQ and WeChat accounts. She thought it was normal and she didn't plan to contact him again anyway.

Before graduation, he suddenly added her and explained that her girlfriend had deleted all the opposite sex from his phone.

Since then, the two of them have maintained a relationship of chatting once or twice a year, and their topics are limited to graduation and work. Putting everything else aside, Zhu Zhiyang is her most talkative friend of the opposite sex.

When they contacted each other again, Zhu Zhiyang said he was planning to divorce.

Calculating the time, they have been married for more than a year, and the child is still in the breastfeeding period. He said that he would divorce after the breastfeeding period is over. Wen Hua didn't want to pry into the couple's relationship, and didn't know what to say, so she could only say that since they were married, they should not divorce easily, and changing someone might not be better than this one.

Zhu Zhiyang called her to chat, and they both felt emotional when talking about their recent situation.

"Who are you talking to on the phone? Why are you hiding on the balcony?" A woman's angry accusation came from the other end of the phone.

A classic quarrel between husband and wife began. Wen Hua tactfully hung up the phone. Before hanging up, she heard the words "slut".

[Explain to your wife that it was just a casual chat with old classmates. Doesn't she know me? We even had drinks together. If she minds not contacting me, that's fine. My wife is the most important thing.] After thinking it over, I decided to explain.

After sending it, Wenhua went to a topic selection meeting and then came back to turn on the computer.

Lin Zhengze: [??? Is flirting and running away your signature?]

Wow! I really want to die after hearing this. [This is what you, a psychiatrist, would say]
