42. Killing with fear
He Chen charged forward suddenly, completely ignoring the swift blade coming at him. His gentleman's blade, a hundred strikes in one, combined immense power with its unparalleled sharpness, instantly cleaved the two men in two. Blood splattered everywhere, staining many around them crimson.
He Chen didn't even glance at the dead man. Instead, he turned to look at Miss Yun Qing. 'I'm sorry to have made you laugh, Miss Yun Qing. I am just such a crude person.' He gave her a friendly smile, then paid no further attention to Yun Qing's reaction.
Yun Qing, despite the bloody scene, quickly adapted. She thought to herself, 'This is probably the martial world and battlefield Father spoke of.' Then she followed them inside.

Just then, a chorus of footsteps sounded outside. Soon after, more than twenty people entered. The group quickly split into several groups. He Chen glanced at the grouped people but paid them no mind.

He Chen muttered to himself, 'Then come and kill me. It seems the vessel I'm attached to isn't my physical body.'
Then, the Gentleman's Blade Dao Technique was activated, and thunder roared and flames raged, like two thunder dragons and fire dragons, rapidly circling the Gentleman's Blade.
He Chen activated his inner energy cultivation technique, and the raging flames and lightning above him directly ignited the two people on the ground. Instantly, the flames roared into the sky.
