Chapter 299 Nap
After washing his hands, Tao Zhi pulled out a stool and sat down, looking at Gong Cheng standing at the table without moving.
"Sit down. Do you want me to personally pull out a bench for Vice President Gong?" Tao Zhi joked.

Tao Zhi went upstairs yawning, and Gong Cheng followed him. Gong Cheng followed him until Tao Zhi opened his door.
Tao Zhi turned around, with a frivolous look in his eyes.
"Vice President Gong, are you planning to follow me into the house? I don't mind, but I'm very sleepy now. I'll play with you after I wake up." Tao Zhi said with a smile.
Gong Cheng's ears turned slightly red when he heard this, and he pursed his lips for a moment, not knowing how to respond.
Gong Cheng had already seen everything in the next room anyway, and the ring was now placed in his own room, so there was nothing that Gong Cheng couldn't see.
"Go to the next room and rest." Tao Zhi said.
"Okay." Gong Cheng replied gently.
Tao Zhi tossed and turned in bed. He was obviously very sleepy, but he couldn't fall asleep. His mind was full of the fact that Gong Cheng was only separated from him by a wall.
A long time passed, but Tao Zhi still couldn't fall asleep. He was so angry that he hugged his quilt and muttered a lot, kicked his feet around, and then jumped up from the bed.

Tao Zhi heard Gong Cheng's breathing was even and regular. He called "Gong Cheng" softly several times but there was no response, so he judged that Gong Cheng had fallen asleep.
Tao Zhi tiptoed into the quilt, secretly climbed onto the waist of Gong Cheng who was sleeping on his side, then moved his body closer to Gong Cheng's arms, until he was completely nestled in his arms, and buried his head in the familiar crook of his neck.
After completing a series of actions, Tao Zhi's tense heart finally relaxed. He closed his eyes contentedly and went to sleep.
About a few minutes later, Tao Zhi fell asleep. Gong Cheng opened his eyes, which were clear without any sleepiness.
Gong Cheng looked at Tao Zhi who was clinging to him in his arms, and felt the softness in his heart being touched. A warm current surged up, causing a faint smile to appear on Gong Cheng's lips, but that smile couldn't help but be mixed with bitterness.
Gong Cheng put his arms around Tao Zhi, closed his eyes, and fell asleep together.
