Chapter Seven Private WeChat
As Lin Yu sat in Sister Wang's car leaving the hospital, she was still shaken by everything that had happened that day. She leaned wearily against the back of the seat, listening to Sister Wang's long, detailed account of how she had fainted that day.
"Xiao Lin, thank you so much for today. You took the bullet for Sister Wang. Once you're better, Sister Wang will treat you to a big meal."

However, Lin Yu had decided to keep quiet about the incident from her family from the beginning, so nothing could dampen her joy at winning the large bonus on her own.
After having dinner at the hotel, Lin Yu received a call from the legal department, informing her that she would be meeting with Green Company at the project site at 10:00 AM the next day to discuss the details of the settlement process and sign documents.
Police officers, company leaders, lawyers from both sides, and Manager Lü will all be present. However, he reassured Lin Yu not to worry too much, as he had spoken with the opposing lawyer afterward and the process went smoothly.
Green Company showed remorse and a clear willingness to settle, and had no objection to the compensation she requested. She only needs to appear on time tomorrow to sign the relevant documents.
At the end of the call, Lin Yu inquired with the legal department about Green Company's attitude towards Manager Lü. The legal colleague gave Lin Yu a vague reply.

Lin Yu had to admit that Jiang Chuan at work was a completely different person from his private self, even possessing a certain captivating charm. He didn't talk much, but every word he spoke was reasonable, as rigorous and concise as a set of regulations. At the end of the meeting, both parties successfully signed the public security mediation agreement and the settlement agreement.
Lin Yu's company leadership also granted him an extra three days of leave until New Year's Day. After the New Year's Day holiday, he will go to the hospital for a follow-up examination and then return to Shanghai, thus concluding the matter.
After the settlement process was completed, Manager Lü wanted to invite Lin Yu to dinner to apologize, but Lin Yu politely declined. She got up and left the meeting room with her colleagues, but Jiang Chuan called out to her from behind.
"Mr. Lin looks beautiful today!"

"Can I add you on WeChat?" Jiang Chuan took out his phone, a black Apple phone without a case, which looked quite old and didn't even have a screen protector.
"What a boring person," Lin Yu couldn't help but think to himself. "Why didn't you add him last time at the hospital?"
"I'm afraid you'll think I have ulterior motives."
Adding someone on WeChat isn't a big deal, especially if the other person is an attractive member of the opposite sex. But for some reason, Jiang Chuan's way of speaking always gives off a vague sense of ambiguity, perhaps stemming from his manner of speaking or his demeanor.
Lin Yu took out his phone and scanned the QR code Jiang Chuan handed him. "How could that be? After all, Attorney Jiang doesn't look like a bad person."
She deliberately used his past remarks to tease him, and Jiang Chuan readily accepted it with a smile.
A few seconds later, a friend request popped up on WeChat. She casually clicked to accept, and what she saw was a plain black profile picture with no signature or introduction, as black as his eyes.
A hint of surprise flashed through Lin Yu's mind. "Doesn't your law firm do any advertising?"
Jiang Chuan put away his phone and looked at Lin Yu.
"This is my private WeChat account."
