Chapter 2 is unsolvable, can I solve it?

The two were extremely close, and in addition to the intense heat, Luo Shimiao could also smell a pleasant, refreshing fragrance.

"The perfume is nice." The thought slipped out of her mouth, and she was taken aback afterward. In the current situation, she actually had the mind to pay attention to the fragrance.

It must be from drinking too much water that got into your brain.

A deep, pleasant laugh rang in my ears.

Gu Nian: "Your focus is really unique."

Luo Shimiao chuckled twice, and seeing the man's increasingly dangerous gaze, she slowly moved her small hand down toward his waist.

My eyes lit up; I found it.

The man let out a muffled groan, looked down at the small hand on the belt, and his brows furrowed tightly.

Having never unbuckled a man's belt before, Luo Shimiao fumbled for a long time but couldn't undo it.

Seeing the anxious expression on the girl's face, the man smiled, removed the slender, smooth hand from his waist, and said, "Let me do it."

Luo Shimiao suddenly looked up. Had he misunderstood something...?

A slight scraping sound was heard as the man unbuckled his belt with one hand.

"alright."

Gu Nian stared at Luo Shimiao, seemingly waiting for her next move, beads of sweat sliding down his cheeks.

"Your composure is also quite good."

Luo Shimiao smiled, gripped the belt buckle, and pulled hard, pulling the entire belt out instantly.

Before he could react, she swiftly clasped the man's hands together, put on a belt, and within a few breaths, Gu Nian's hands were firmly bound by the belt.

She got off the man, crossed her arms, and smirked: "You didn't think I was going to help you detoxify, did you?"

Gu Nian: "........."

Luo Shimiao: "What's your name?"

The man paused for a moment, then slowly said, "Gu Nian."

"Gu Nian?" Luo Shimiao murmured, repeating, "That name sounds familiar."

"Untie it." Gu Nian's chest heaved, his face flushed, and he began to have difficulty breathing.

Luo Shimiao ignored him, turned around and quickly walked to the landline, dialed the front desk, spoke to the front desk for a while, and then hung up.

A few minutes later, the landline rang, and Luo Shimiao answered it instantly.

"Yes, you're welcome."

After hanging up the phone, he picked up his cell phone from the table and said to Gu Nian, "Let's go, I'll take you to the hospital."

When they helped the man up, they realized how tall he was; his head only reached their chin.

She grabbed the phone from the sofa and struggled to help the man walk towards the door.

He opened the door a crack, peeked his little head out, and only helped Gu Nian out after making sure no one was around.

Entering the elevator, looking at the man's tightly closed eyes, I patted his face: "Hang in there a little longer."

Gu Nian opened her eyes and glanced at the belt on her hand: "Could you take it off first? It's uncomfortable."

He then added, "I promise I won't do anything reckless. If I do, I'll tie you up and bring you back."

Luo Shimiao looked at the man's furrowed brows, hesitated for a moment, and finally loosened them.

"You said it yourself." Luo Shimiao put the belt away.

"Ding!" We've arrived at the first floor.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, a group of security guards surrounded four men in a corner of the hotel lobby, arguing about something.

Luo Shimiao recognized one of them; he was Ding Zhou's assistant.

Not wanting to escalate the situation, Luo Shimiao told the receptionist over the phone that she saw several suspicious men loitering around the hotel, seemingly engaged in illicit activities.

Since it concerned the safety of all hotel guests, the front desk staff took it very seriously and immediately contacted the hotel's security captain, which led to the scene before us.

The call I just received was a call back from the front desk to thank Luo Shimiao for the reminder.

"Help me block it." Luo Shimiao put the man's arm on her shoulder, buried herself in his chest, and used the height difference to cover herself. She then walked quickly toward the other exit.

Gu Nian gasped. The girl's soft body pressed against him, and the fire he had managed to suppress was now bubbling up again.

Fortunately, once outside the hotel, Luo Shimiao immediately distanced herself.

He hailed a taxi on the roadside, shoved Gu Nian into the car, and said to the driver, "Go to the nearest hospital."

A dozen minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of a hospital.

"Cash or WeChat/Alipay?" The taxi driver turned around and looked at the two of them.

"Uh..." Luo Shimiao scratched his head, looking embarrassed. He hadn't thought that much about it when he took the taxi.

My phone is unusable right now, and I don't have any cash on me.

He leaned closer to Gu Nian and asked in a low voice, "Do you have any cash?"

Gu Nian shook his head. Who carries cash these days?

The taxi driver frowned when he saw the two men's expressions: "You two aren't trying to dine and dash, are you?"

Luo Shimiao quickly waved his hand, saying, "No, no."

He reached out and groped around his body, looking for something valuable, but his fingers and wrists were empty.

Her fingertips touched the necklace on her chest, she hesitated for two seconds, and then took it off.

With a pout and eyes full of reluctance, she said, "Our phones can't make payments; one is broken and the other is out of battery."

"This is a necklace I bought recently at a high price. I've only worn it twice today. Would it be alright to use it to pay for the fare, driver?"

“I spent over 20,000 yuan on this necklace, so using it to offset the 20 yuan fare is definitely worth it,” Luo Shimiao added, fearing the other party might refuse.

The taxi driver took the necklace in his hand, looked at it for a few moments, and said skeptically, "There are so many fakes these days. What if you bought it for 9.9? Wouldn't I be losing out?"

9.9? Luo Shimiao almost spat out a mouthful of blood, and said excitedly, "Look at the color of this, does it look like a 9.9 item? And look at the expression on my face, isn't the pain, heartbreak, sadness, and wanting to cry obvious enough?"
