Chapter 265 A Severe Beating

"Ah!" The man felt a sharp pain in his back, and his body made close contact with the ground.

Luo Shimiao kicked him to the ground, giving him no chance to resist, snatched the gun from his hand, and grabbed his hair, slamming his head against the ground.

"Damn it, you little bitch, how dare you trick me!" He realized what was happening and cursed under his breath, enduring the pain.

Luo Shimiao grabbed his clothes, flipped him over, and started punching him in the face: "Little sister? You little bitch? You can still talk, huh?"

"Bang bang bang..."

A front tooth flew out of his mouth.

Hao Yun walked out from behind the tree and looked at the man on the ground whose eyes were too swollen to open, feeling a great sense of satisfaction.

"Want to throw a couple of punches too?" Luo Shimiao stood up from the ground and said to her.

"Okay, okay." Her tone was tinged with excitement as she picked up the flashlight from the ground.

She walked up to the man, her eyes scanning his body, finally settling on one spot, and then she stomped down hard without hesitation.

"Aaaaaah!" the man screamed, clutching his groin.

Screams echoed through the woods and even reached the foot of the mountain.

Director Jiang breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the man's screams; the two women were safe for the time being.

Luo Shimiao glanced at Hao Yun. This girl, so gentle and kind, was surprisingly ruthless and knew how to pick her positions.

Seeing that he could still move, they showed no mercy and kicked him repeatedly until he could no longer move.

"Did we kill him?" Hao Yun asked worriedly, looking at the man whose face was unrecognizable.

"No, I know what I'm doing." Luo Shimiao cocked the gun, squatted down, and pointed it at his head: "What were you doing sneaking up the mountain like that?"

The man struggled to open his eyes. Despite being beaten so badly, there was no fear in his eyes. He opened his mouth and said, "Want to know? I won't tell you. Go ahead and kill me if you dare."

"Hahaha..." A maniacal laugh escaped his mouth, his teeth stained with blood.

Luo Shimiao suddenly stood up, his eyes narrowed, and his hand pulled the trigger.

"Bang!"

The birds in the forest were startled by the sharp gunshot and flew in all directions.

Hao Yun covered her mouth, her eyes flashing with astonishment. She never expected Luo Shimiao to actually fire a gun.

The man on the ground was equally shocked; he raised his trembling hand and touched his neck.

The bullet grazed his neck, and now he felt a burning pain; if it had gotten any closer, he would have died.

......

Hearing the gunshots, Lin Mai paced anxiously back and forth in front of the RV, saying, "God help me, God help me."

Director Jiang's heart, which had just been at ease, was now filled with anxiety again: "Why haven't the police arrived yet!"

The assistant said from the side, "We're in the mountains, far away, and the road is difficult to travel. It probably won't take us more than an hour to get there."

Jiang Cheng thought for a while, then hurriedly returned to the RV. When he came down, he was holding a fruit knife in his hand: "No, I have to go up and take a look."

"Brother Jiang, I'll go up with you." Hu Kun found a wooden stick as thick as a wrist from somewhere.

Jiang Cheng turned around and said, "Teacher Hu and I will go up and take a look. You guys go back to the car and hide."

"I want to go up with you guys," Lin Mai ran over.

“We want to go too.” Several tall men stepped forward.

They were the same photographers who had been on the mountain earlier.

"I don't want to repeat myself, so get back in the car!" Jiang Cheng said sternly.

Everyone gave him a deep look, then turned and went back to their car.

The two crouched low as they climbed the mountain, with Hu Kun leading the way, holding a stick.

He hadn't walked for more than a few minutes when a beam of white light shone on his dark face.

Hao Yun's surprised voice rang out: "Director Jiang, Teacher Hu, what brings you up here?"

When Jiang Cheng saw them standing unharmed in front of him, his eyes welled up with tears, and he almost cried. He excitedly walked forward and said, "It's so good that you're all alright. We were so worried down there."

"Your knife..." Luo Shimiao used his gun to deflect the knife that was about to be pressed against his chest.

"Oh, oh." Realizing what he had done, he quickly folded the knife up and put it in his pocket.

Hu Kun, with his sharp eyes, noticed that Luo Shimiao was holding a leg. Remembering the gunshot that had just rang out, his face drained of color: "You didn't kill him, did you!"

“I’m a model citizen, how could I kill someone? I just beat him up.”

Hao Yun: "I just shot him to scare him. He's not dead; he's still breathing." He moved aside, and the man who had been blocked came out in front of the two of them.

"Hiss~" The two gasped.

What a cruel attack!

The man's eyes were tightly closed, his face was swollen like a pig's head, covered in bruises, and his original appearance was unrecognizable.

Jiang Cheng bent down and checked his breath; he was still breathing. "What happened?"

Luo Shimiao dragged him along, telling them what had happened as they walked.

After listening, the two fell into deep thought.

If it were Mi You instead of Luo Shimiao today, the outcome would likely be quite different.

Someone who illegally possesses a gun is definitely not a good person.

Lin Mai didn't go back into the car, but knelt outside, facing one direction, muttering incantations.

Hearing footsteps, she looked up and saw Luo Shimiao. The tears she had been holding back for so long burst forth. She pushed herself up with her hands and ran towards her, opening her arms to hug her and crying uncontrollably.

"That scared me to death!"

Luo Shimiao patted her back and comforted her, "Don't cry, I'm fine, aren't I?"

She wiped away her tears, examined the area carefully, and when she saw the blood on the finger, the tears that had just stopped welled up again: "You hurt your hand!"

"This isn't my blood." Luo Shimiao teased, recalling the scene he had just witnessed, "Were you offering a virtual sacrifice to me?"

"Pah, pah, pah, what worship? I was praying to God to keep you safe and sound."

Hao Yun's assistant heard the commotion and rushed downstairs, pulled her aside, and checked her over and over again.

"I'm really fine," Hao Yun said helplessly.

Luo Shimiao unloaded the bullets from the gun.

Although the pervert was beaten so badly he couldn't get up, to prevent any accidents, they tied him up with a rope, threw him into the car, and locked him up while waiting for the police to arrive.

More than an hour later, the police and ambulance arrived.

Jiang Cheng had him dragged out and dumped in front of the police like trash.

"Captain Liu, it's Zhang Xing!"

"This cunning fox has hidden here." Liu Fanming squatted down and searched the man's body with both hands.

"The gun is here." Luo Shimiao came over with the gun and bullets and handed them to him.

Liu Fanming had just seen abrasions on Zhang Xing's neck and the bullet rolling between his fingers. Seeing Luo Shimiao's face and the bloodstains on his clothes, he said to the doctor, "Someone here is injured."

The nurses ran over with a stretcher and, without saying a word, lifted Luo Shimiao onto it.

"Hey! You've misunderstood." Luo Shimiao jumped down from the stretcher.

The nurses stared at her blankly; her face was as white as a corpse, yet her movements were nothing like those of an injured person.
