"Ahhh!"
The women in the room finally reacted, and four mouths emitted high-decibel screams.
Luo Shimiao's cold gaze shot straight at him: "Shut up!"
The four women jumped off the bed, hugged each other, and huddled in a corner.
Lin Hai pursed his lips, his shrewd eyes fixed on Luo Shimiao, and suddenly smiled, "If you like this jewelry set, I'll give it to you. Let's talk things over."
She released his wrist, cocked the gun, took a step back, straightened her upper body, picked up the box from the ground, placed it on the bed, pointed the gun at his forehead, and said coldly, "Open it."
The richer and more powerful a person is, the more afraid they are of death. Lin Hai quickly entered the password with a "click".
Luo Shimiao silently memorized the password.
He lifted the lid and showed it to her.
Luo Shimiao narrowed her eyes as she looked at the dazzling diamond necklace inside, and said with a smile, "The seller probably didn't tell you where this necklace came from."
Having frequented various venues for many years, he immediately sensed something fishy: "They told me they bought it from the black market."
“What black market? They stole it,” Luo Shimiao scoffed. “We don’t want to make a big deal out of this. They’re still here with their money and people. We’ll take the necklace with us.”
"You haven't lost anything, so how do you feel?" The gun barrel slid down to his cheek, squeezing the flesh of his face until it caved in.
"Absolutely no problem." Lin Hai nodded. As long as he survived, there would be plenty of jewelry.
Luo Shimiao smiled with satisfaction and tilted her head to signal him to put on his clothes.
The physiques of undisciplined middle-aged people are truly an eyesore.
Two minutes later, Luo Shimiao came out of the room carrying a suitcase, with a gun pressed against the back of his head.
Lin Hai stared at the bodyguards on the ground, a chill running down his spine: "They..."
"He didn't die. He'll wake up naturally after the anesthesia wears off."
A heart-wrenching scream came from the room across the street.
"Spare us! We'll never do it again!" the man begged, his voice trembling.
Li Man used the existing bed props to tie the man up and drag him out of the door. Then she went to two other rooms and dragged the people inside out.
"How ruthless!" Lin Hai looked at the three men covered in bruises and felt a surge of relief.
Luo Shimiao pointed the gun at the sofa and said, "Go sit down. You'd better not try anything funny, otherwise..."
"Clang." The bullet pierced through the vase, and in the blink of an eye, white fragments scattered all over the ground.
Lin Hai's heart skipped a beat. He suppressed his fear and slowly sat down on the sofa.
She entered the password to open the box and walked up to Li Man: "Take a look at the goods."
Li Man picked up the necklace and examined it carefully.
"It can't be fake. I've already had someone verify its authenticity," Lin Hai said.
Her brows furrowed more and more, then she put the necklace back in the box and said in a deep voice, "It's fake."
"Although it looks very realistic, I've seen the real one, and the fire colors it reflects aren't so stiff and lifeless."
Lin Hai's eyes darkened, and with a gloomy face, he stood up and walked up to a man with a buzz cut, kicking him in the stomach: "You fucking messed with me!"
"Where's the real necklace?"
The man grunted and said with difficulty, "I don't know. We only stole this one. We definitely didn't switch it."
Luo Shimiao looked thoughtfully at the man lying beside her, who had shifty eyes and a furtive expression. She had caught the fleeting look of panic in his eyes just now.
He walked up to him, squatted down, and pointed the gun at his head: "Tell me, where is the real necklace?"
"I don't know, maybe it was fake when you received it."
"Not going to talk? I wonder what it feels like to have a bullet go through your little chili pepper." She said, standing up and firing a shot between his legs.
