Gu Nian and Luo Jianxing rowed the boat, and it slowly began to move.
"Bye-bye~" Luo Shimiao sat on the boat, raised the bone in her hand, and waved it at the boat.
"Woof woof woof." The dog barked at them a few times, then suddenly sprinted a hundred meters, leaped, and accurately bit the bone.
Because of this action, the boat almost capsized.
"Oh my god." Luo Jianxing struggled to steady himself.
Luo Shimiao was also tackled: "Didn't I give you bread? What's so good about bones? There's no meat at all!" He grabbed the end of the bone to prevent it from taking it away.
A man and a dog were fighting over a bone on the boat.
The boat spun around on the water, and everyone on board watched intently.
"If you don't let go, I'll pluck your fur!" Luo Shimiao threatened, grabbing its front leg.
A low growl came from its throat, and despite her threat, it did not let go, gripping the bone tightly.
Ma Cheng asked, puzzled, "It's just a bone, why can't we give it to it?"
Li Man: "Those are human bones."
Ma Cheng and Liu Zhongzheng exchanged glances, this...
"Sigh..." Gu Nian stepped forward helplessly, grabbed the dog's mouth and pried it open forcefully.
Li Man took the bone out of its mouth.
"Go on," Luo Shimiao said, picking up the dog and throwing it into the water. "Go back now."
"Woof woof woof." The dog swam back, barking wildly as it went.
She picked up the oar and said, "This guy is probably calling for help, row faster, row faster."
The four oars moved in perfect unison in the water, splashing water everywhere.
Little Green stood on the edge of the boat, cheering them on: "Go! Go! Go!"
The boat seemed to be traveling at double speed, and the barking of the dogs gradually subsided.
........
"I'm so tired..." After getting ashore, Luo Jianxing lay down on the ground and stared blankly at the sky.
Li Man: "I'm so tired too."
Luo Shimiao: "So tired."
Gu Nian: "Tired."
They lay neatly on the ground like four salted fish.
"I'm sorry, I can't help you." Liu Zhongzheng's rugged face flushed red.
Ma Cheng's face turned even redder. He only had minor injuries and could have helped, but he had fallen asleep.
Luo Shimiao took off his mask, got up from the ground, and said, "Don't feel sorry, we were just too weak."
"Third Brother, where are we now?"
"Let me see," Luo Jianxing took out his phone, swiped a few times, then suddenly exclaimed in shock, "What!"
"What's wrong?"
“We’ve gone the wrong way,” he said, grabbing his hair in anguish. “This is Manster. I was wondering why it was taking so long to row.”
Liu Zhongzheng's expression turned serious: "Manster is the most chaotic city in S country. It is currently fighting against another force, which is extremely dangerous."
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the sound of artillery shells could be heard in the distance.
"We've run out of bullets," Ma Cheng sighed, head bowed.
Luo Shimiao pulled over a black backpack, unzipped it, and said, "Don't worry about the bullets, I'll share some with you." He then took a handful out of the bag and placed it beside them.
His pupils dilated, and he said, "This whole bag is full of bullets?"
"Yes."
What's in this bag?
"Hand grenade."
What about this bag?
“Smoke bombs,” Luo Shimiao automatically reported the last bag: “Those are tear gas bombs.”
Ma Cheng swallowed hard: "Which unit are you from? Are you also on a mission?"
The four of them said in unison, "It's a secret, we can't tell."
They were wearing masks, so their faces were not visible.
Liu Zhongzheng nodded: "I understand."
The two of them naturally assumed that their identities were in that direction.
Luo Shimiao slung his bag over his shoulder and said, "Brother Zheng, go to the hospital to check your injury. It would be troublesome if it got infected."
"good."
Gu Nian took two masks out of her bag and gave them to them.
"Thanks."
The group carried their belongings and walked towards the road.
...
The hospital wasn't hard to find, but it was packed with patients. The lobby and corridors were filled with wounded soldiers, their painful cries echoing throughout the hospital.
Nurses and doctors bustled back and forth in the corridor.
Looking at the devastation before him, Luo Shimiao said, "The hospital is short-staffed. We'll have to wait until the war is over."
Ma Cheng frowned and said, "I have some nursing knowledge. If there is any medicine that can treat the wound..."
"Tell me what medicine you need."
He read out the names of the medicines that were needed.
"Okay, you wait here for a moment, I'll be right back." Luo Shimiao wrote down the name of the medicine, handed his things to Gu Nian, and turned to walk inside.
Gu Nian took her hand: "I'll go with you."
"It's hard to get things done with too many people. Don't worry, I'll be back soon." She patted the back of his hand.
He had no choice but to let go, watching her departing figure, a vague sense of foreboding creeping into his heart.
Luo Jianxing patted him on the shoulder: "Don't worry, she'll be fine. Let's get her plane ticket back to China sorted out first."
“I checked, and there are wars breaking out in many places now. If you want to take a plane, you can only go to the capital, Vihard.”
He looked at the map and said, "To get to Vihard, we have to go through the two cities that are at war; that's the only way."
While they were discussing the route, Luo Shimiao found a pharmacy, grabbed a white coat, and instantly transformed into a doctor.
In the pharmacy, the nurses were as busy as if they were in a battle.
Luo Shimiao slipped in, naturally searched for medicine in the medicine cabinet, and after finding all the medicine he needed, he made a quick getaway.
After turning a corner and entering the stairwell, I bumped into four or five soldiers in black uniforms. Judging from their clothes, they were no ordinary soldiers.
