The knife slipped from his hand.
Luo Shimiao tried to jump down but Gu Nian stopped her, saying, "Stay put." Then he jumped down and picked up the knife from the ground.
The mad bull saw Luo Jianxing lying on the ground, walked towards him, and lowered its head to try to lift him up with its horns.
Li Man rushed over and helped him up.
The knife in his hand fell at the same time as Gu Nian's, one stabbing the head, the other the buttocks.
The mad bull fell to the ground and struggled a few times, then became still.
Luo Jianxing held Li Man's arm, his lips curving downwards, and whispered, "It hurts."
Li Man chuckled and said, "Serves you right for showing off. Did you learn your lesson this time?"
He sniffed and nodded: "Got it."
Fang Cheng breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the two mad bulls had been dealt with.
"Ah Qiu".
He had a coat wrapped around his waist, and his arms and calves were red from the cold.
"Mr. Fang, please go back to your room. I'll handle the rest," his assistant said.
"Um."
Gu Nian stood at the foot of the wall, stretched out his hands, looked up at her with a smile, and said, "It's windy up here, come down."
"Okay." Luo Shimiao calmly jumped down from the wall and landed steadily on the man's strong and powerful arm.
Gu Nian carried her in one arm and walked up to Li Man and Luo Jianxing: "Let's go back." He glanced between his legs: "Oh, you can still stand, which means the egg drop soup wasn't made."
"You seem disappointed that I didn't break!" Luo Jianxing glared at him through gritted teeth.
The man raised an eyebrow and smiled, leaving him with his back turned.
A moment later, the man's cool voice, carried by the cold wind, entered Luo Jianxing's ears.
"I'm quite disappointed."
