Gu Nian then let go of her hand: "It's just a red envelope, anyone can send one." After saying that, he took out his phone and sent a red envelope to Luo Shimiao.

"Sigh~" She looked at the smug parrot with a regretful expression: "I was going to give you a big red envelope, but I didn't expect a bird like you."
A big red envelope! It shuddered and pounced to hug her leg.
"Dad, son was just testing Xiaonian's loyalty to you to see if he could resist temptation."
Gu Nian rolled his eyes: "Do I look that desperate? You're not attractive to me when you're alive, but if it were..." He stared at it with a deep gaze, a meaningful smile appearing on his handsome face.
"If it's just one dish, I might be a little interested."
Little Green shivered and, clutching her pajama bottoms, climbed upwards.
"Daddy, your husband wants to eat me, I'm so scared."
Luo Shimiao looked down at the bird trembling and clutching her clothes, and her lips twitched slightly.
"Be opportunistic!"
"Is there a limit?" Gu Nian frowned when he saw the payment notification.
"That's enough, if you keep sending them, I'll pop the screen open."
"Then you can't accept that kid's red envelope."
"Don't worry, I won't accept it." Luo Shimiao poked the man's handsome face: "You jealous bastard, you're even jealous of a little brother."
“He’s an adult, not a little brother anymore.” He looked straight into her eyes and said, “Besides, he likes you.”
"You like me?" She pointed at herself incredulously. "Please don't say such terrifying things."
"My mom invited them over for dinner. I'll ask him then, and if he really has those kinds of thoughts..."
His fingers snapped open, and his dark pupils gleamed with a dangerous light.
Gu Nian took her hands and said seriously, "If you hit me hard, I'll pay for the medical expenses."
Little Green muttered to himself, "That treacherous villain, poor Linzi is going to get a beating."
“I think you’re overthinking it.” Luo Shimiao stood up and pulled Gu Nian up as well: “Let’s go wash up and then go home for dinner.”

Luo Shimiao sat in the passenger seat holding up his phone; the screen showed a cake shop.
"You should give up on that idea. You only get one chance; once it's gone, it's gone forever."
Upon hearing this, Xiao Lü was heartbroken and lay motionless on my lap.
While driving, Gu Nian glanced at the green figure out of the corner of his eye, a faint smile playing on his lips.
It's such a silly bird that you can both love and hate.

The Luo family.
Luo Shimiao unbuckled his seatbelt, held Xiao Lü in his hand, opened the car door, and got out of the car.
Gu Nian pressed the voice button with his thumb and said, "We've arrived." After saying that, he twirled the phone halfway in his palm and stuffed it into his coat pocket.
"What are you dawdling about in the car?" she asked, hooking her arm around the man's.
"Reply to this message."
"Do you have work to take care of? Go to my study. I'll come up and call you when it's time for dinner."
Gu Nian put his arm around her waist and walked towards the door: "No, it's Jiawen who's complaining."
Chen Jiawen: Boss, don't try to pin all the blame on me!
During their conversation, the two arrived at the gate.
She gripped the doorknob, but hesitated to open it.
Gu Nian turned to look at her and asked, "Why don't you go in?"

"It's okay, I'll stand in front of you." A large palm covered the soft little hand and pressed down slightly.
Then, he put his arm around Luo Shimiao and stepped through the door.
"Happy birthday!"
The person hiding behind the door appeared before them.
"Miaomiao, look here." Luo Jianxing, dressed in black sportswear, stood opposite her, holding a bow and arrow.
Upon hearing this, Luo Shimiao looked over and, seeing the bow and arrow in his hand, asked nervously, "What do you want to do?"
"Of course, it's a gift for you." He smiled, a handsome smile playing on his lips, nocked an arrow, and aimed the red-cloth-wrapped arrow at her brow.
"Is this how you give gifts?" She tried to run away, but the man next to her held her shoulder.
