Luo Shimiao covered her mouth and chuckled; her third brother's flustered appearance was too funny.
Li Man held his hand and said, "It's just a red book. We'll get one after Miao Miao's wedding."
"Really? Really?" He turned around and looked at her excitedly, his eyes shining like fireworks.
"Yes, really." She looked at her best friend: "We used to say that whoever gets married first would be the bridesmaid. I wonder if I'll have that honor?"
Luo Shimiao met her amber eyes, her eyebrows curving into a smile: "You are my only bridesmaid."
"Then I want to be the best man!" Luo Jianxing said, raising his eyebrows. "A-Nian, you're not afraid I'll steal your thunder, are you?"
Gu Nian smiled casually: "If you change how you address me, I might consider it."
He said without hesitation, "Brother-in-law, my only brother-in-law."
"His only brother-in-law is insightful."
So you're saying you agree?
Gu Nian raised his handsome eyebrows slightly: "Mm."
Luo Jianxing happily put his arm around Li Man's shoulder: "I'm the best man, and you're the bridesmaid. We're a match made in heaven."
Luo Shimiao sighed, "Where did this idiot come from?"

Laughter and merriment filled the air on the island.
The center of the island is as beautiful as a fairyland.
Rows of transparent chairs were placed on the lawn, surrounded by white baby's breath and white roses, interspersed with green plants. The fresh and simple arrangement added a touch of coolness to the hot weather.
Before the flower-adorned archway, Gu Nian, dressed in a black suit, stood tall and elegant, exuding a refined and noble air. His gaze was fixed on the other side, his eyes focused and affectionate. His dark eyes reflected a white figure.
As the music started, the venue fell silent.
With tears in his eyes, Luo Jingyuan led his daughter forward.
Luo Shimiao wore an off-the-shoulder, trailing wedding dress, her fair and slender neck adorned with a layered diamond necklace. Her beautiful features were complemented by exquisite makeup, making her breathtakingly beautiful.
With a smile on her face, she walked gracefully towards Gu Nian.
The two stood side by side on the stage.
"A-Nian, today I'm entrusting my precious daughter to you. I hope you will cherish her, be tolerant of her, and love her well from now on." Luo Jingyuan reluctantly placed his daughter's hand into Gu Nian's.
Gu Nian glanced at Luo Shimiao and said solemnly, "Dad, I will."
He nodded, turned and left the stage, sitting in an empty seat in the first row.
Luo Shimiao turned her head to look at the first row, and the familiar faces of her grandfather, mother, older brother and sister-in-law, and others came into view. At her most important moment, her family and friends were all there; it was truly wonderful.
The emcee's voice pulled her back to reality.
"Bride and groom, please stand facing each other and gaze into each other's eyes..."
The two listened attentively to the emcee's speech.
MC: "Groom, now please answer my question solemnly. As you stand here, taking her hand, this beautiful bride before you will become your wife. Life is long, and no matter what, you will hold her hand as firmly as you do today. Do you?"
Gu Nian said firmly, "I do."
"Life is a long journey. Would you be willing to spend time with her watching the sunset in autumn and the snow falling in winter?"

A chorus of jeers erupted from below the stage.
Before Gu Nian could act, Luo Shimiao tiptoed and kissed him. The red lips lingered for a second, and just as they parted, a burning hot hand suddenly appeared on the back of his neck.
Gu Nian held her neck and lowered his head to kiss his entire world.
